This should be another flat stage for sprinters, but that doesn't mean that all the sprinters get to the latest kilometres because there might be some echelons in this area. Personally, I hope there will be some echelons, as it's already 2nd week and we haven't seen any yet.
***** Cavendish, Greipel
**** Coquard
*** Kittel
** Sagan
* Groenewegen, McLay, Laporte, Theuns, Matthews, everyone else
Mark Cavendish
The Manx Missile has proven to be very very strong in the latest sprints. He has already won 3, but he is looking for his 4th this year, 30th alltime, that would put him closer to the record of Merckx, which is 34

That Mauritian rider Sagan could be a good bet, but today's really for Laporte.

I don't think Mauritius gets to compete in the WC? If you look closely you'll see he wears the Mauritian National Champions jersey.

Montpellier, it'll be a sprint, Greipel to open his account, though if Sagan plays it right he's very much in with a shout
But, CROSSWINDS. Hope the Spanish not-contador-quistadors have got their act together.

I hope for echelons too, so Sagan can gain advantage from it.
Basically i want anyone but Cavendish to win, thanks.

Keep dreaming. If whole top5 of sprinters field (Cav, Kittel, Greipel, Sagan, Coquard) crash out, he can have a chance, to fight with McLay and Groenewengen for a win. If that does not happen, no chance for your overhyped guy.

Could be an exciting stage, just hoping there aren't too many or too serious crashes (it seems unrealistic to hope for no crashes!). |

He rides for Cofidis - he's learnt from the best.

Uh crosswind! Perfect for dutchies and belgians. Afterall they invented crosswind and in those countries toddlers can ride echelons before they can even walk! True story!
Greipel really deserves his victory. He does well over long distances, meaning he should have the stamina for a wind hampered stage.
Oh and LottoSoudal is a blegian team! |

Ohh, he was once fifth and in front of Sagan (who is not a pure sprinter), that completely destroys my point...i will go and cry in the corner.
