Can't see this break staying away no Katusha, Direct Energie and Etixx rider in the break plus the sprinters have just got back on to the peloton 6 mins with 100km to go still very much catchable
I doubt the final can suit someone like Kittel...

Same...
And Kristoff doesn't seem in good shape to fight for wins, so Katusha with that useless work. |

3 teams is not enough to close over 6 mins on these riders in front anyway.

The hill turned out to be quite useless tbf, at the speed they were going. Kittel handles even worse when there are climbs before the finish. |

IAM showing they haven't chased much down this year as they try and put everyone in the crosswind standard just rolls alongside them and asks them to move over
Strange chase though seems like Katusha were chasing earlier but won't help the 2 from IAM now |

Couldn't Hagen at least have tried to fight Sagan for that intermediate sprint. |

Cavendish doesn't stand a chance anyway of winning the Green so it would of been a waste of energy, actually I don't even think Cav will finish the waste

What it has to do with respect? So green jersey should be just handed to Sagan? |

Cav was not sure to finish TdF, and has never made it point that he wants to win green jersey. Everyone knows Sagan is going for green. He got in break and worked for 100kms. Some teams/riders respect that and dont be dick about it. |

What it has to do with respect? So green jersey should be just handed to Sagan? Why should he? Now with Cavendish climbing form, it is clear for everybody, that he doesnot stand a chance forgreen.

Youre missing the point. Having respect is not taking points WHEN YOU DONT HAVE ANY INTEREST IN IT. Hagen and Cummings had interest in it because they defend Cavendish's green. And if Cavendish wasnt going to finish would have abandoned before Pyrenees. He won 3 stages already, this Tour has been amazing for him. Cavendish is gonna finish Tour for sure and has a chance of green because flat stages point scoring is cruical here. Winner gets 50 pts whereas someone in 6th gets about 15 pts which is a big difference so even if Sagan wins today Cavendish is not out of it he might be back in green tomorrow. |

Nope, no chance now, with his terrible climbing form...

Also do you think Cummings and EBH were ignoring team orders by not contesting the sprint or is it more likely they were told not to sprint? I think its the latter and DD told them not to worry about it
