Geraint Thomas just crashed.
My idol Rasmussen on twitter: Fuglsang's bike goes through a UCI-engine check. Not surprisingly it passed.
Sky will probably kill initiatives with their mere presence. Hoping for Bardet, Aru and Rolland to do something. Would be sad to see such a stage like this get soft-pedalled, but ultimately, ASO only has to thank themselves if thats the case with Arcalis looming.
Contador is getting better day by day. And he has most probably signed with Trek.
Lets have a good stage. TV coverage should start somewhere at the Tourmalet, hopefully as early as possible. The last combo Azet + Peyresourde is rather nasty if raced properly, short, but steep. |

Hoping for Costa as well, he is actually the favourite according to bookies. Considering tomorrow probably will be decided among the GC-men, he has to win here! |

Of course. Good start on the stage, everything else today will be a bonus.
Kidding, obviously. At least half kidding.
Yeah, I really didn't bother with route maps etc., I figured people had seen those and hangovers. |

Poor old Morkov just gone out the back with 51km covered in the first hour and no break and the intermediate coming up in under 10km too. |

Can't wait for the suffering aka climbing to begin, it seems.
Or maybe the GC teams wanna ride the sprinters out of the timelimit because they dare to take up all the road space in the sprint finishes? |

Another a boring stage, where nothing happens.
Froome attacks never on a stage that ends downwards.
Quintana is satisfied, so long as he is not hopelessly behind in the overall standings, waits he to the last week.
Team Sky and Movistar can control all the others.
The most exciting is about Froome attacking tomorrow or waiting to Mont Ventoux. |

Yeah a break like that is bound to fail, but still cool to see him try and the great racing with comes with it.
