No surprise Griezmann decidet this match aswell, there are simply no strikers as effective as him. This match really remindet me of an atletico match, but we all know how effective it is against a team much more safe with the ball.
Pleased to see Griezzy winning something huge (very likely) without leaving atletico <3

Deserved win for France. We controlled the game, but to win, you need to shoot goals and our offensive "approach" is shameful for a World Champion.
I honestly don't think it's about the approach, at least not mainly. We just have mostly average offensive players. Draxler, by now unfortunately Götze, and Müller (as an individual) as well. Sané isn't there yet, though he might have the potential.
None of them has either outstanding speed or outstanding technique. It doesn't allow for strong counter attacks, and it isn't good enough to outplay opponents in close spaces.
Then we have Kroos and Özil as playmakers, but they're used to better players and a well-rehearsed offense, that's when their strengths come into play.
Since we don't have any strong "heading players", crosses aren't an option either. There's not much left then ^^

But still we try crosses all the time. Götze, Draxler, Müller, Özil and Kroos are still top notch. You just need to let them play their style. Özil needs to play more in the center and he needs to try it more individually. Götze needs to find a club where he can actually play and Draxler was nice throughout the tournament.
Seems like the Viking Haka Iceland fans performed in this Euro, and that was copied by the french after the game in semi finals has scottish (Motherwell) origins. Anyone confirms or denies?
This game is scripted. First, let the French destroy Ronaldo so that the news papers have a sad story to write about. Then let the French win the cup because they are the home team.
Edit: Maybe the French coach told his players to hit the Portuguese until nobody is left.
