Have you picked anybody NOT from Etixx yet?
Anyways, the stage I've been looking forward to since the start. Brilliant design, I love the Massifs, especially when its early on and not finishing on Bore Besse.
My pick? ROMAIN BARDET, ALLEZ. |

Yes, Cav for today (although that was before I found out about that finish, would've gone with Coquard) and Dylan for stage 1 (pre illness)
It's not my fault they have such a great stage winning potential team |

would love to see Navardauskas doing well, this could fit him...but he usually starts to perform when I already count him out being not in form or too weak (see 3rd week GT or WC)

You are right, I bet that he will be the bookmakers favourite for tomorrow. If he is 2nd tomorrow, I think you will regret having mocked Sagan for 2 years now... just like me today when Kittel won. |

Fortunately there is no Z's or S's in his name so you can't replace it with 2 |

"Nevertheless the modified route will represent a major sporting challenge: 122km and 2,873m of elevation gains."
Close to disastrous. Really well designed stage turns to absolute shit now, could at least have tried to made it longer/harder. |

I don't get how race officials of major races like the Tour can continue to assign stages that are at great risk of cancellation without viable alternatives that or at least close to the same level of difficulty.

I'm confused what adjusting the Etape has to do with 1) tomorrows stage, and 2) Stage 20 when they say they won't make the call until the last moment?

They did the freakin same thing last year. And there are alternatives, If Im not mistaken, you can put Joux Verte behind Joux Plane and still finish in Morzine, right?
They have known since May and still comes up with an absolute dogshit stage. Last stage of 120 kilometres, it will basically just be a sprint of Joux Plane now. They finally did something, but that obviously couldn't be true since ASO and Prudhomme are amateurish and incompetent. |

1) Nothing, but was lost where else to post, slightly lazy as well.
2) its most probably will go down like that. Its just unbelievable, its what it is. Especially considering the stage actually was really good prior which wasn't the case in 2015, so no biggie there really. |

Haven't watched a stage yet so might try and watch this one, finding it difficult to locate any enthusiasm to watch the Tour this year

There wont be probably any big shake-up between GC riders, but for sure, there will be some surprise names dropped on 2nd category climbs if the tempo is high. |

Would be fun with Thomas, but I think Daniel might take this one.

Will Nibali be dropped today? Otherwise Thomas feel like a good bet on losing time today. |

I think Contador is a much better bet to lose time than Nibali, but Thomas is a good one as well. Would be nice so see his ass getting dropped so he can get back to his classics where he belongs. |

Pretty interesting scenario on the stage so far. Tinkoff pretty much giving up yellow for Sagan so far on the stage, which is a wise move imo.
Split in the breakaway group, giving some of the riders the 3 riders who got away a more realistic chance of winning against Majka in such a tough stage. But really poor from the break to let really strong roleurs/decent puncheurs like De gendt, Grivko and GVA go.
