Le Tour de France 2016 | Stage 3 Granville -> Angers

Since the only purpose of this stage is as a transition stage down to the Massif Central first, but more importantly, the Pyrenees, its good they are this long (stage 4, also). Its just 2 now, coulda easily been 3 if shortened - and the result would regardless be inevitable; a bunch sprint.

this year sprint stages are scary to watch..even when they had still 6km. to go.
It is just me?

I thought there's this beautiful thing called bus to travel those 50 additional km.

Not necessarily...Kittel was boxed in and was even 4-5 positions behind his final leadout-man. He was simply too far behind.
