MY PICK
Marcel Kittel

I think it will be very close between Gorilla and Kittel. Kittel will just edge it and Cav will be 3rd.

Arberg27
I think also Kittel.

trekbmc
I'm pretty sure Laporte will win tomorrow. Cool

I also think Kittel

Luxemburger
Isn't the finish already too steep for Kittel?
Also the length of the stage could bring him in trouble.

trekbmc
Yeah, looks like the finish rises a little, could mean Sagan, Mathews and the like have a slight advantage.

Roughly 30 metres of altitude raise on a kilometer thats barely noticeable, especially when you go steaming in there @ 60 kph. Won't matter.

Forever the Best
Agree with Luxemburger and trekbmc though Greipel still should be sprinting very good.Cav is focusing on track so the final and the distance may be a little hard for him like Kittel

Ah, right, guess I misjudged it in the profile. Pfft

Definitely to steep.

Nah, I probably should stop hate on Kittel. Pfft He doesn't deserve it despite not being able to climb a bump.

This stage probably looks like the biggest snoozefest of this year's Tour. Who has it? Sagan in yellow would be great, im hoping he can pull it off. I don't really like any of the sprinters, sad Bouhanni is gone, otherwise had rooted for him.

My bet is on Andre Greipel for tomorrow...

Very good and sympathetic words once again from Valverde:
“We couldn’t take so many risks before the closing climbs; it wasn’t worth for me since, while it’s obvious that I could chase the stage win, everyone in this team has come to this Tour to help Nairo out. He’s 100,000 times better positioned than me and with a better shot at the Tour that I’ll ever be. That said, into such a finish, with wide roads, it wasn’t difficult for me to get in a good place, and once there, you just don’t break - you’ve got to go for it.

“I was doing well before the last kilometer uphill, but I took the coice to following Matthews’ wheel into the final 500 meters, and I got a bit boxed in from the left-hand side as I sought for my sprinting distance. I thought Matthews would be stronger into such a kick, and once I got past his wheel, the rivals in front of me, super fast guys like Sagan and Alaphilippe, were impossible to overtake. [Asked by journalists about the GC] The dark horse? Seriously, I can’t be a dark horse after 14 years as a pro. And I don’t make any conclusions out of this third place. We’re all behind Nairo.”

I had hoped Izagirre or Rosa to try themselves somewhat out in the GC. Doesn't seem to happen at all now. Thomas lost 30 seconds today, Zaka almost a minute. Meanwhile, Landa has been kept in contention. I think thats their plan B for now, very wisely. Hoping he will do well.

I thought you bet on Viscisioso or however you wrote it...

It's for Sagan again, he'll be 2agan for having won 2 stages in a row

Laporte will win Bouhanni's place Grin

Laporte? Barely know the guy. Hopefully not Pfft

Coquard would be nice tho, but Limoges is way better for him. That stage could end up a little harder than some might expect, IMO.

Yeah I don't understand how anybody would have an issue about a lesser known rider winning a Tour stage
