If the host clicks on select team and allows new people to join, the game often bugs.
How to successfully organize online tours?
1. Wait for people to enter first. (All people will be ready to play.)
2. Close the room (Nobody is able to enter now.)
3. Select team (Everyone selects their team.)
4. Game start.
5. Wait for everyone to join and don't adjust speed, this could cause some crashes. (Let the game handle speed automatically at start, it might freeze a couple of times).
6. Complete the race.
7. If everyone is successfully back in the lobby and ready to play you can start the next one.
If not successful:
7. Examples: people crash during load screen, during race, random cyanide error, infinite synching, crash when connecting to the tour screen, or ranking screen, etc.
8. All people should leave the tournament and join the tour again, to make a fresh start at the next stage.
Completed a couple of tours with this tactic as host and as player
Tip:
- Rename the map "videos" and _redist" to skip opening videos and to skip updating step for directx and VC redist. |

With the new patch, you can't vote on game speed until all players are in game.

That's a good one!
Sometimes it is hard for people to follow instructions, this makes it easier |

Yeah thx for your answer, but the problem here is the expansion pack lite db.
It seems that people get kicked when i select their db. |

It might be because we didn't put it on the workshop or something, but today we had issues playing online with workshop dbs as well, only the official db seems to work well.

I guess they clicked the button without knowing what it does.
As far as I understood, you cannot re-upload a DB back to the workshop, so maybe it would be better for pcmdaily to deliver the DB through the workshop. |

Oh, you absolutely can re-upload a DB back to the workshop. But it wont work, since only the files in the /mod folder will get uploaded to the Workshop.
