Small error in the DB: Frankenstayen is trained to 78HI as written in the table.

Oh dear. Good thing I'm not heavily relying on a top sprinter this season. The PT is overloaded with top sprinters, and we are closing in on another rank of rider types where you need 85 to win...
Spoiler Ben Swift - 84
John Degenkolb - 84
Alexander Kristoff - 83
Sam Bewley - 83
Erik Mohs - 83
Gerald Ciolek - 83
Mark Cavendish - 83
Michael van Stayen - 83
Jacopo Guarnieri - 82
Matthew Goss - 82
Peter Kennaugh - 82
Leigh Howard - 82
Georgos Tzortzakis - 82
Jurgen Roelandts - 81
Eduard Grosu - 81
Sondre Holst Enger - 81
Kris Boeckmans - 81
Bryan Coquard - 81
Roman Maksimov - 81
IMO a horrible mistake not to train Guarnieri +1SPR, which could have possibly made him a Pre-Race favorite often. A 78HI rider and a 79COB rider is nice of course, but neither will get a significant increase of points with those statgains. The best points is gained where you train a rider into a top one. I considered making Coppel 84TT, but supposed that no one would train TT (of those main competitors), so made a gamle to see if he can instead increase his GC positions on several races. Novak +1MO to help Spilak basically...
A few riders are going to be very very strong this season if planned well:
Jack Bobridge
Alexander Kristoff
Michael van Stayen
John Degenkolb

I would have made Coppel 84TT and make sure he wins every time - trial he is in. Other than Tasmania, I don't see a race where he would be a GC contender where that hill update would be needed.

Horrible mistake? You could say so, I definitely wasn't hoping for so much training amongst the sprinters.
That being said, I don't believe a 83 sprint Guarnieri would have held me in PT. The training for Trentin and Juul-Jensen was done with PCT in mind, where Guarnieri (if I decide/can keep him) would be a great rider, with or without +1SPR.

I hope he can somehow top 10 in Vuelta al Pais Vasco, and maybe at TONE also. And looking at last season he did reasonably well in races like Lisbon and MSR, so maybe a bit of added quality will help him there...
I really dont like training TT as there are quite a fem short TTs, and then I have spent 2.3mio on making him better at TTs, but then it is prologues that counts. And looking in the DB only Fiedler (PCT) and Phinney (probably a very different calender) can beat him on normal occassions, and Fiedler is a 83 trained rider, meaning he only have 82 in prologue...
I could have trained Spilak aswell, but figures it wouldn't mean a whole damn lot if he was 82 or 83 in HI... So I mainly though about making him 79TT, but well had to make a decision

Yeah ok. If your reasoning is that you probably wont succeed either way, I guess it makes sense to train for next season instead - In terms of possibly staying up, it would have been spent better on Guarnieri though... But Im very harpy to see Chris Juul getting trained. He is a very likeable rider. Not Living you training cobbled guys though, as it makes Tom David look worse

Hmmm, thanks god we are not heavy dependant on our sprinters.
MSR have now like 10 major favourites. Shame they will get beaten by attack of Ignatiev
And Phinney +1 mountain is not cool...but i like Coppel not being trained in TT, that would seriously hurt me.

Yeah. Wanted Coppel to threaten Ignatiev on his main goals instead
Training him +1TT would cost 2,3mio while training +2HI costed 2mio, so I figured it was the best way of doing things. I kinda hoped that Fiedler didn't get wildcards to all those races I targeted, but of course he did - so probably should have done the +1TT training instead. Oh well, atleast this opens up for me conspirating that Coppel can actually do a decent top result in races such as Vuelta al Pais Vasco

Not sure if it is a mistake or not, but Stefano Pirazzi (6160) has 86 Fighter.
