The Dauphine concludes today and the results will be up after the stage. Currently, no one has the top 3 as it stands in the GC. Let's see if anything changes on today's stage.
Also, remember that the entries for the Tour de Suisse are currently open. Get your entries in before the deadline. We've received only 3 entries so far.
For those who aren't playing yet, you can start any time. Enjoy the day's racing

The results for the Criterium Dauphine are out. Froome, Bardet and Dan Martin were the riders finishing on the podium.
There's a four way tie at the top with emre99, namtheman928, Croatia14 and AbhishekLFC all getting 30 points. The updated leaderboard can be found here.
The combination of Froome, Contador and Pinot was the most popular with four participants electing to go with these three riders. Marcovdw was the only one who selected Bardet while no one picked Dan Martin for a podium finish. Everyone except trekbmc got 1 of their 3 riders scoring points in this race, his decision to leave out Froome leaving him playing catch-up after the first race.
Thanks to everyone for playing and remember to get your entries in for the Tour de Suisse.

With Gesink crashing out of the race, we'll take a decision on the bonus question and let everyone know. Till then, you can keep sending in your entries and edit the bonus answer later.

The Bonus Question for the Tour de Suisse is being scrapped. This situation will not be repeated in future as I'll be setting the deadline for each race at the start of the first stage of each. Sorry about the confusion, to Jandal too, who came up with another great bonus question and thank you to everyone in advance for understanding.
Taking this opportunity to also remind everyone to send in their entries for the Tour de Suisse. Entries close 12 Noon GMT on 15th June.
Anyone who hasn't registered can do so at any time.

The podium in the Tour de Suisse looked like this:
1)Miguel Angel Lopez
2)Ion Izagirre
3)Warren Barguil
No one had picked these three riders to finish in these positions. TheSchleckFan was the only participant to have Lopez in his team. Two participants had Ion Izagirre in their picks. No one picked Barguil for the podium. The most popular picks, Tejay van Garderen and Geraint Thomas, finished outside the top 5 and the top 10 respectively.
Here's the points update for the TdS
Name | Points | The Schleck Fan | 20 | emre99 | 10 | namtheman928 | 10 | AbhishekLFC | 0 | welker3257 | 0 | Marcovdw | 0 | jandal7 | 0 | trekbmc | 0 |
The updated overall standings are as follows
Name | Races Entered | Strike Rate | Bonuses | Points | emre99 | 2 | 33% | 10 | 40 | namtheman928 | 2 | 33% | 10 | 40 | The Schleck Fan | 2 | 33% | | 40 | Croatia14 | 1 | 17% | 10 | 30 | AbhishekLFC | 2 | 17% | 10 | 30 | welker3257 | 2 | 17% | | 20 | Marcovdw | 2 | 17% | 10 | 20 | jandal7 | 2 | 17% | | 20 | trekbmc | 2 | 0% | 10 | 10 |
emre99, namtheman928 and TheSchleckFan are now the joint leaders. Croatia14 with a no-show stays on 30 points. trekbmc is yet to pick a correct rider on the podium.

Bonus Question 1 - Who will win the most stages in this year's Tour de France? (30 points)
Jandal will soon post the second bonus question.
For those joining new, the rules of the game can be found here. We are only two races old, so you can make up lost ground with the large number of points on offer in the TdF.

Bonus Question Two - It's gone Non-GC-GC-Non-GC-GC in the winner of the KoM classification winners since Tommy Voeckler and his 2012 heroics. Will the pattern continue with an opportunist (outside top 5 GC) taking the coveted polka dots? Yes or no. (30 points)
Fun fact, the KoM winner has had two stage wins for the opportunist and one for the GC guy in that pattern too
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

GC 4th: Contador
GC 5th: Bardet
KOM: Nairo Quintana
Points: Peter Sagan
Young Rider: Bardet
