Impossible to start Career, Pro Cyclist or Single Race Mode

Hi guys,
So whenever I try to start a race I get to the screen attached, whenever I try to continue, the game crashes. Sometimes I get a grey screen with some shapes on it for a second before it crashes, sometimes not.

(Pretty new to this forum, so don't know how to add a picture otherwise. Sorry)
At first I thought that Online Multiplayer and track races were affected, however they seem to be working. Multiplayer crashed after three stages, but that's probably due to something else.
Anyone have any ideas how to fix this?

I've tried with all of them.
I've also tried to uninstall and reinstall the game. |

Check game integrity on steam. It might seem the database got removed somehow or never installed.

Tried this. At first it said that 2 files were missing. It then fixed this, as the next time I tried, it said that everything was alright.
However, I still can't play... |

If the problem also occurs with the official database (the top most database in the list) then it will be hard for us to help you. Consider posting your problem in the technical forum on steam. |

I have this same issue, but with yours db, the Expansion Pack Lite.
When I start a career mode, and it's loading the youth cyclist, then crash. |
