If Schleck wins the NC there can still be Niki/Bob jokes, althought they could also be Daniel/Tony/Tom jokes

Brings back memories - Birillo, Valv-Piti, AC etc. Haha, good old times, some really uninspiring codenames! Sevillano? Might as well write Sevilla, lulz |

Velonews with a piece of promo for Cannondale that will make Stromeon flip the table. https://velonews.c...res_409956
Today, Vaughters takes satisfaction in watching his young riders pop up on the results sheet. When Howes got into the day’s breakaway at the Amstel Gold Race in April, Vaughters tweeted: “If there is one accomplishment I’m proud of during my 30 years of being in pro cycling, it’s: Helping @alex_ howes do his thing. #loyalty.”

Cyclingtips article on the story
https://cyclingtips.com/2016/06/lotton...st-roglic/
I don't believe Roglic was using a hub based motor at Strade Bianchi but it does look strange that his rear hub does glow (under 37 degrees), I would think the rear hub would generate heat especially under heavy load but you'd think the other riders rear hub who he's riding with would also have a glow.
I was sceptical that motors were used in the pro peloton but I'm less so now than I was this time last year, but in this case it has to be something else as I can't see how the Vittoria neutral service would be carrying a hub based motorised wheel.

Its super sweet. Good on them for promoting the cobbled classics even further since they obviously are 10x as exciting as the Ardennes. And many of the Ardennes-riders have opportunities to score big points later in the season, only the absolute best and versatile cobbled riders can do that.
Thats 5 now. But its on a Wednesday normally isn't it? |

It's not a bad thing, WT races on sunday, wednesday, friday and sunday is too much to ride all, we will get some lesser names get a shot of glory in these WT races.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

That will probably change now I'd think. The field isn't gonna be super crowded, but you will see much better riders now that WT points are at stake, Im pretty sure |

They will probably move the race a few days to get more of the top cobble guys to attend. I think so |

They won't move it because you can't. MSR preceeds it and if you move it after Gent-Wevelgem it will be too close to de Ronde. Its good as it is and it always attracted good riders like Terpstra, Debusschere, GVA, Benoot etc. |

The field started getting better again this year because MSR moved back to Saturday instead of Sunday. The years MSR was on Sunday the field in Dwars was getting weaker and weaker but with the extra day between San Remo now it becomes much more viable again.

We'll make it interesting since more 'stars' will choose to ride Dwars and maybe just ride 2 out of 3 races. Dwars-E3, E3-GW, Dwars-GW combos, or whatever some dudes prefer. That could lead to the Ronde being the first proper clash of all big names in one race, whilst imo it usually is E3.
