Yes and Froome is the one, that wins, when it is finished Grin

Spoiler
No, the mentioned ones are the guys who win. Froome is Ramsay Snow.

The guy who caused massive chaos in 2013 and 2015?

Movistar will be cooking on gas come July, mark my words. Astana are strong, but Movistar has the potential (and the leader) to amp it up.

All this arguing over which is the best of Sky, Astana, Movistar, etc.

Obviously Direct Energie are going to be the ones amping it up behind Thomas Voeckler. Cool

No, I didn't. Movistar's climbing depth is infinitely better this year if Ion is there and much better if he isn't, still. They were very rouleur heavy last year which I pointed out various times. Wink

Barguil, Curvers, Degenkolb, Dumoulin, Geschke, Preidler, Sinkeldam, Ten Dam, Timmer.

Very nice and well rounded team for Giant. Degen for sprints, Barguil mountains, Dumoulin TT's. Ten Dam to do some luxury dom job in the mountains and Geschke to hunt a stage along with Preidler who rode very well in Italy.

Problem is, that Froome is much stronger, until he is far ahead in the overall standings. In all terrain, mountain, hill, flat, cobbles, time trial. He can only lose TDF by the crash or wait on Wiggins.

Yeah, Giant looks like a decent team. Only a bit surprising they left De Kort out, think he might've been a better choice than Timmer.

Or not being good enough, he did that in 2008. Wink

Froome isn't better in the mountains than Quintana.

Froome is better in the first mountain stage, maybe stages, but thats after a hard first week with flat roads. Since he is better at that and has a stronger team, he will be more rested. Its the same as Porte - those 2 aren't natural climbers, they are much more rouleurs than fx. Quintana. They have used that to their benefit in 2013 and 2015 and if you look at the Dauphine, you could see it again. They were clearly the best at Vaujany, then Porte faded a bit, while we didn't exactly know how Froome was.

This year its different. Unless Quintana doesn't lose time early or lose time on Aspin (where I suspect Sky is going to blow it apart), I don't see him losing to Froome. Simply can't see Froome put time into Nairo other places than Aspin + not more than 30 seconds at the long ITT at best.

Why can't we just ban the fuck out of this guy again? Has to be the biggest mystery.

He would have beaten Froome too. If Froome was strong enough to actually be selected by Sky in their Tour lineup.

"Now TDF and the Games, you say? Well', one would have to ask Eusebio and Javier Mínguez [Spain's national team coach]; I'd like to ride both of them, but it's their choice."

It honestly would be somewhat of a crime not to bring Ion now. For both races.

Or should I say, all 3 races. One of the favs for the ITT in Rio (and also the first one in Le Tour) and a dom for all terrains. Man, has he evolved this year, I can't hide my joy!
