And another, minor but annoying: when you assign shortcut to rider and double tap assigned button then camera not moving to this rider like past years so you need clicking on the riders panel each time. Annoying for those who have grown accustomed to quickly move between groups or riders using the keyboard. |

The most important thing to know is the pause key. Press P to halt the game, this give you time to read the instructions from your team and then apply it to your rider.
The commands are from left to right:
Attack: A strong attack to get away from other riders in the group
Keep Position: Should be obvious. You have to set the max effort your rider should use to maintain the position. It is better to right click a certain rider to make your rider maintain that position.
Individual effort: Your rider will not try to maintain a certain position. You have to set the effort of your rider.
Relay: Your rider will lead the peloton or group doing turns with other relaying riders. You have to set the effort of your rider
Infinite relay: Your rider will lead until exhausted or overtaken. You have to set the effort of your rider.
Get water bottles: Your rider falls back to the end of the peloton or group to fetch water for all team mates
To protect a rider, you have to select your rider first, then right click the other rider and select the protect option. You should see a coloured shield at to the protected rider, and the same colour shield at your rider.
The effort bar defines how much effort your rider is willing to do. The higher the effort, the faster the heart beat. The faster the heart beat, the more energy your rider will consume, which is represented by the yellow bar.
It is not recommended to use all yellow before the end of the finish line, but your rider can gain back some yellow when riding at lower effort, for example during downhill.
The effort depends on the instruction you gave to the rider. Most of the time when maintaining position your rider can take it easy in the middle of the peloton, so the effort is used as a maximum your rider should do to keep his position.
When riding on individual effort or when relaying, the effort directly translates to the riding speed of your rider.
When your rider is close to a sprint, the attack icon will change to a sprint icon. Click it to make your rider sprint. Both attacking and sprinting uses the red bar, this bar will fill up quickly when riding at lower effort. |

How long does the stages take to load for you guys?
I have to wait a lot of time, something like 4 / 5 min to load each stage. |

Varies a lot depending on the stage (and graphical settings, but those are constant for me). Between 20 seconds and 5 minutes usually.

If you mean that you can't make "protection trains", that feature was taken out because of a misunderstanding, as in the riders in fact formed trains, but they weren't actually protecting each other so to save energy.
To make trains in pcm 16, the only option is letting riders follow themselves.

Mountain trains work like in real cycling, put all riders to "Relay" but the first rider to "Infinite relay". |

I have played some mountain stages for example the Mont Ventoux stage in Tour de France, and there is a big group on 20-30 riders with 1-2 kilometres back. Is it also happens for you ? |

Would protecting the leader be the best option for the duration of the race, until you hit the final few km? This seems to be the most requested from my leaders.
