Sorry Ian, but it is MGTransfers, I tend to quieter on the rest of the site during the MG offseason, and totally ignore it during transfers. I have at least been reading the reports, but will have to re-read what's happened in that time before I can make any comments in character.
I probably should have said something beforehand but figured you would be just as busy with them and that the pace would slow down, turns out I was wrong on that one as it feels like it's sped up a little.

@Sammy: Yes I've grown tired of the slow pace of the game and I really want to pick it up again. Having a relative easy MG transfer season so I'm not slowed down by it.
I understand that some are busy because of it, but it's not something I'll wait for, and I hope people can still find some time to play this, too. |

Yeah, if anything it's giving me more to include in Dubois rant part II, and maybe even enough to warrant a part III by the time I've fully caught up.
got to say my transfer season dragged on longer than I was expecting and clashing with work, the Euro's and E3 meant I had a lot more going on during it than normal.
I should slowly start getting up to speed again with this over the next week, it's nice to see some of the first year stars making a small impact now.
I think they must have something planned as they all seem to be peaking at the same point, maybe there's going to be an old vs new turf war started here or something if they continue this upwards trend and try to retake their positions at the top.

Please ban Bauknecht, second time they bring down a BKCP guy
Good race by Francis again. His form is finally back, but unfortunate with the push pins. Alas, World Cup remains exciting with two manches left. Trondheim needs him at his best.

Yeah it's nice to see Louis with such late season form now that Sven is out for some time.
Who will he be slavin' for WC? Milan or Vague?

With Welling most probably out for some time, it looks like an extra spot opened for Belgium at the World Championships. Perhaps Louis can make it after all!
I'll also try to keep a 2-races-per-week pace from now on to the end of the season. So that means the season would end in approx 6 weeks. |

Not sure Who said they can't work together to destroy the field I don't think they've ever interacted - certainly sometimes I feel Vague makes a point of not mentioning him
And yeah, hopefully Louis gets in, Vandenbroucke will likely want a BKCP guy in - even a Listerijn!

Forget Milan or Vague, Louis is going to be working for Van Dyck at this rate. #BelieveTheHype

That doesn't mean Louis won't be working for him. You never know with these Listerijn's, they just pick and choose at will which nations they ride for these days.

Van Dyck might be turning into a semi-favorite for the WC now.
5 races left to build towards the right form! |

From a role-playing perspective this was certainly an interesting race.
Glad that both trekbmc and Shonak picked up on this opportunity to do something else. It's not easy to let your rider "be/get" injured like that and most people always get out of a fall with a miraculous recovery and back and kicking the next race. Now Lipawsky and most probably Welling see their season end prematurely.
Nice work |

Semi-favourite? He has the Ian Butler's stamp of greatness on him. Podium minimum I say.

Anyhow, we're heading for Hagfors, with only one question: Who can beat Vague?

Wait, Welling broke his leg and has the possibility of racing at the end of the season? I doubt it.
Interesting post though Shonak.

Doesn't it take about six weeks to heal? Ofc I don't have exact schedule on mind, I just thought maybe he could get Arenberg classic in theory but it's not planned.

The season lasts another 6 weeks iirc and that's probably the shortest amount of time it could take to heal, but that doesn't include getting back into some shape as it's difficult too ride at all at that point.
Still, it's a game, I probably shouldn't be so pedantic.
