Nice HQ! Obviously love the jersey, but take issue with a 100â„… kiwi team bidding on bakari

The team is 100% based in New Zealand and mainly focus on kiwi riders, but there is room for riders from all across the globe!

It's Will007's style of showing his jerseys.

Cameron Karwowski
The first signing for our team couldn't really be more patriotic. The first rider we have signed to represent the Spark project this season is Cameron Karwowski! Cameron is gonna wear the silver fern this season, as he is the current New Zealand national Champion. We are very excited about Cameron, who has had most of his results on the track, but is readdy to go full out on the road.
Raimondas Rumsas
The second signing of the season is a bit more controversial. Raimondas is the son of the man (With the same name) who finished third in the 2002 Tour de France and of the woman – Edita Rumsas – who was stopped at the Franco-Italian border that July with a car boot filled with 37 different medicines and empty syringes with traces of EPO. But we believe that everybody that have the talent, should get an equal chance, no matter what their parents have done before them. Welcome to team Raimondas!

When I saw you bidding for Raimondas Rumsas I actually thought it'd be him and he somehow survived in the MG DB for all those years.
That jersey is amazing! Hope Cooper will do well for you.

We are happy to introduce 3 new riders to our team! The first rider is Anton Cooper. Anton is another big talent! He's two times New Zealand elite champion in mountain bike, and he's the 2012 Junior and 2015 U23 Cross-country world mountain bike champion. He also won a gold medal at the 2014 Commonwealth games in cross-country mountain bike. But despite all of his results on the mountain bike, he's now trying to get a career on the road. Signed from Strava Anton is gonna go straight into our development program together with Raimondas.
Our next new signing is Alex Meenhorst! Alex Is a proud Kiwi from Auckland he is currently living in Esch, Luxembourg. His best result is a bronze medal at the Oceania championship in the u23 class in 2005. Alex’ career has been fairly quiet since his u23 years, but he's still a very good rider. He will be a part of our sprint setup for this year!
The third rider is gonna be our main leader next year! His name is Daniel Thorsen! He's gonna be leading us in the sprints. Daniel is one of the fastest riders out there. The only thing is that he lacks a lot of endurance and other skills. He's not really good at anything else than sprinting. But if it gets down to a sprint, then he is damn fast. Therefore it is important that we have a strong team around him that can support Daniel, so he can produce his watts the last couple of hundred meters of the race. Daniel was a free agent, and with a wage of only € 70,000 we saw it as a bargain we couldn't say no to!

Im not too sure how well Thorsen will do, but for nearly minimum wage, it is always worth a shot.

I think he often comes close at CT level, but can't compete much higher than that. Either way, as you say, well worth a gamble at his price.

Nice team, I'll second what Count and Valverde said about Thorsen being iffy in general, but is fine @ minimum wage
also nice pick up with Rumsas, he'll be a good time trial rider when fully developed |
