I guess we are near enough done and nothing big is going to come into the team.
So...
Looking at our team I'd say we are just not good enough to stay in the Division I basically tried everything to get another rider in after Phinney but it was always going to be a struggle with his wage and in the end this was the best I could do.
Really I think it's going to be when Phinney is racing we can win the rest of the team it's pot luck and breakaways
It does indeed seem a bit underwhelming in terms of a PT team, but if you have a bit of cash left over for training a couple of riders it could be decent. But like you say you might struggle a bit - And you definately need to plan Phinney carefully so he doesn't run into Pluchkin, Spilak, Madrazo and those riders everytime he rides.

Any idea why this thread https://pcmdaily.com/forum/viewthread....d_id=44504 is locked?

Also my team.
Will still probably loan out Moazemi and add one more other player.
Other than in the mountain compartment I have a rather weak team but still some cash left for training. Not sure what to do though. Kiserlovski 81 MO? Wang 77 HI? Nepo 77 CO? I'll see. |

I've decided I dont care about promoting so if there's an Italian on my team you want for a decent price you can have them Appo has been sold tho. (I'm on my phone and figure this will get the most views here, sorry for the spam). If we were in contact previously my prices have been reduced.

Don't expect my team to change any more, so I'll share it as well.
Happy with:
• Competitiveness in mountains and hills, both tours and classics
• Depth in hills
• 5 good time-trialists for TTT
• No real sprinters, Gazelle style
Not so happy with:
• Mediocre cobble division; this will be the main focus for next year if we stay up
• Big gap between two leaders and the rest; we should gradually balance this out
• Mountain depth
• Lack of a second PT-level GC climber

Pretty awesome team, well done! About as good as you can do as a newly promoted team. Both leaders should score plenty

Madrazo and Ginanni should score plenty and you should be abel to get all your 4.xx riders maxed this year as well which will give you better Hilly depth next season. If Konrad maxes then he will be very interesting for us next year.
Hopefully Veelers can get some nice results on the cobbles but there are some really strong riders in the PT so I'm not too sure how well he'll go.

My team right now:
A few minor things will likely change as I'm not really finished yet.
Haven't really an idea of what's possible with this squad but i think i have quite good chances to avoid relegation which was my main goal coming into transfers but then Heine propably thought that last season as well
Very happy to have 3 guys that are very good point scorers and perhaps some of them still get(s) better...
It will be very difficult to do a good planning with them as they all could target similar races but I guess I'm the one to blame for that ^^
I did quite expect to not sign a top climber and i hope that Koch - Vosekalns - Poljanski will join a lot of breaks and get a stage result or KoM shirt here or there.
A Big Thank You To All MG Reporters!

After seeing 8 guys head out the exit door in one way or another, I have finally secured my first 2 guys on their way IN, am I the last team to do that?

Nope, Crommy hasn't brought anyone in yet (a loan in will be confirmed for him tomorrow)

Is there any PT team willing to take loanies in AND willing to pay their entire wages?
I secured Marchewka (75 tt, 75 prologue, nice backup stats that would suit every TTT train) that needs maxing a few hrs ago and not sure yet if I should loan him out and buy a replacement for my TTT train/good puncheur (max 65k wage), or keep him and max him out next season. Obviously, the former would be the preferred option
After that and a couple of stagiares, I will finally consider my transfer season as done and dusted.

So here are our PCT squad for the season, this team wasn't planned and we could definitely have saved some money around this team. Overall really happy with the team and this team is meant to a 2 year plan to promote to the PT. We have a team that has some good leaders, but lack depth, which I will try and fix for the next transfer season.
The team is older than I would have liked though, but still there is a lot of value to build the team on and hopefully the team can contend for the Top 10 in the PCT. What do you think about our squad? Where can we do better, while still maintaining a national focus?
