Here are the key dates and times for the upcoming transfer window. All times are in BST (British) time. For reference, this thread was posted at 19:00 BST.
This year the transfers window will last 10 days. Last season's lasted 11 and a half days and it was clear that the majority of teams were finished within that time.
| Saturday | 11th June | 12:00 BST | Transfer Window Opens | | | | Free Agent Bidding and Trade/Loan Negotiations may begin | | Monday | 13th June | 00:00 BST | Deals can now be confirmed for trades or loans | | Monday | 13th June | 12:00 BST | The theoretical time that the first free agent signings will be sealed | | Tuesday | 14th June | 00:00 BST | The theoretical time that the first deals will be sealed | | Friday | 17th June | 12:00 BST | Stagiares can now be bidded on | | Sunday | 19th June | 12:00 BST | This is the deadline for sacking a rider | | Tuesday | 21st June | 12:00 BST | Transfer Window Closes | | | | Unresolved free agent bids will go to a silent auction |
If you will be unable to use the site for a portion of the above dates, please inform myself of roturn, and the ManGame-Admin account may be able to perform transfer actions for you, if you provide sufficient instructions.
Timings will be adjusted should the forum experience any downtime during this period.
The Transfer Rules thread will be posted later. Be sure to read it carefully.

Oh boy.
Whilst some guys get babies this weekend (congratz SotD!), my gf is leaving for a three days hiking-trip and vienna is promised to be rainy too. The writing is on the wall.

It's probably not the best place to write it, but I really have no extra power atm.
I became a father in the night between wednesday and thursday, and have gotten an hour of sleep yet. I'm doing my best to do transfers, but with this new life and an exam thursday I might be a little bit off, and short headed. I'd like to apologize in advance if you end up having me like that in the coming period.

Question that I'm not quite sure where to put. This seems as likely a place as any!
If you have budget left over at the end of transfers, what happens to it, is it lost, or carried over to next year or summat else?

A percentage of the remaining balance, the figure in C2 in the Transfers file, is carried over and used in the calculations for next year's budget.

Is the percentage applied kept as an unknown? Making informed decisions with an unknown involved complicates things. Even a ball-park range indication would be welcome unless it is a closely guarded secret!
