It rarely is as the big teams mark eachother to closely but here's hoping some of the big GC guys lose some time early so they are forced to attack

My Top 10 prediction:

1. Voeckler
2. Froome (+8 minutes)
3. Contador (+9 minutes)
4. Rojas Gil (+17 minutes)
5. Sagan (+19 minutes)
6. Hansen (+2 hours)
7. Nibali (+3 hours, but at +5 hours at stage 18)
8. Danny Pate (+ 3 days and a sandwich)
9. Pope Quintana I (+ 2 centuries)
10. Voeckler Jr. (+ 5 million earth rotations)

I think Porte will fly on the first few mountain stages. Tejay falls off just a little but he is then behind Porte so he starts pacing for him. Porte then has his day of terror and loses 15 minutes, and BMC don't get even a top 10 out of this TDF. My prediction.

Absolutely agree. Could see it either way though with whatever guy is placed best, Tejay was 2nd then 3rd for a long time last year before blowing up so he could be the best positioned initially. But either way, even though this is probably their best and deepest squad ever, BMC will get over eager around stage 11 or 12 and have whichever guy is behind start working for the guy who is ahead, but once they think they are on the verge of a podium place it explodes in their face with a massive crack, and they guy who was working for the other ends up in a better GC position when its all said and done. I'm taking it one step further though: since by that point they'll be out of it, either Porte or TJ wins on Ventoux from the break or a distance attack

DiCyc
However he might lose 8 minutes on the two TT's. Pfft

I can't see anyone beat Danny Pate, to be fair. It should be minus 3 days at least.

Yeah. Good old Tommy isn't what he once was, but while his abilities decreases by the day, the legend increases. What a rider.

I take pride in my work, and I hope for one last yellow jersey for the biggest French hero since Charles de Gaulle.

To be realistic, Sagan should be placed second, with Nizzolo being there til he'll get disqualified Wink

I'm loving use of images and gifs.

I'm hoping to see this, although someone needs to go down for it to happen

Nairo has rightfully so garnered the most votes so far ahead of Contador and Froome. Interesting stuff, I thought Contador by far was the most liked rider on here or is this a tendency of voting with the brain instead of the heart?

I think we can rule Trofimov definitely out. Quito also needs to pulls his shit together. Why is he this bad? Weird rider.

Aru with a little resurgence. Lets see if he can carry on into the mountains. Stage 6 will be the most decisive and will be a test of who can cope with a multi-mountain stage over the MIGHTY Madeleine (why isn't this raced more often in the finale from this side in the TdF?), the place where its set in stones Landa will fly away.

Bardet gets 3 chances to show his stage hunting capabilities. My top-5 pick in the Tour looks good so far, but has lost time and will flourish.

Froome and Sagan wins of course easily again again (total and points).
Quintana takes easily second place in the last week.

Kittel wins all sprints he's in and Greipel wins all the others.

Porte, Contador and Cavendish hyped quite much before TDF starts. Porte drawers as he always does. Contador and Cavendish drawers for 6 years in a row in TDF.

Third place becomes available exciting and close + mountain jersey + youth jersey.

What ever the other predictions are.
Froome won't win 2016 TdF

Personally i belive Quintana to win this years tour, he's better than Contador and I think Froome will have problems on the way. I also have faith in Gesink to do well, not win, but to finish on the podium.
