I think most serious GC guys now realise that top form at Dauphine is bad idea even Skyborgs - though they don't soft tap hide form like Nibali for example here.
It is interesting that Contador has never actually won the Dauphine (despite multiple TdF wins).
Sky seem to get their guys prepared slightly too early - but scarily in those years 2012, 2013 and 2015 in particular they seemed even stronger at end of first week of tour (2012, 2013, 2015 first mountain stage was silly Sky show) then they were at Dauphine... and yes this Dauphine team looks ridiculous ... I think we have the potential to see that Sky mountain TTT train which in fact we have rarely seen this year.
