Can somebody explain Nibali's ride to me? He can't follow for three weeks, he can't follow on the first mountain, and all of a sudden he rides away in the final. Well, guess that visit to the hospital yesterday must've worked.
Damn, very frustrated for Kruijswijk. Nobody else deserves this victory, but it looks like he has lost it now.

Maybe Valverde is preparing for Vuelta stage wins with showing that he's not a GC contender anymore so he will be allowed in breakaways?
Yup 4th in the GC after 19 stages. Definitely not a GC contender

over three weeks he's the more or less the strongest rider in the race and he's going to walk away with absolutely fucking nothing
Doesn't mean whoever wins the race doesn't deserve it

Because Kruiswijk is Dutch, the others not. Duh.
Ah I see!
Well my bad then!

It's not only because of chauvinism. I don't know if you've watched the last few weeks but he's simply the strongest here. He has beaten everyone in all stages until today. And that while he wasn't even one of the outsiders at the beginning of the Giro. Nobody saw him as a serious podium contender. You can't deny Steven beat all odds so far. A podium would be very nice as well, but damn, he's so close now.
Well, good job Steven. You surprised everyone and let's see what tomorrow will bring. Maybe he'll take his revanche next year. Now hoping that Chaves will stay in front of Nibali, because Chaves is a Dutchman. Oh wait.
That FMA anime clip, Roy Mustang, that sounds like porn star name.
Edit says:
Nibs had a bad first 2 weeks, really bad. Not giving up, fighting back. Impressive.
Chaves lost some time early on but was strong in the Dolomites plus he is super sympathic.
Kruijswijijk (what's the deal with all those ij-jis in dutch?!) never lost any time, always was consistent and really delivered in the Dolomites.
All deserving victory candidates.
Me, personally, I'd opt for Nibs because he gets a lot of bashing for not being as fishy and thus dominating as Froome and Contador. Chaves is still young. And Krujijijsjwisjijk...I can't even spell his name. (Bad reason but oh well...)

Oh, poor Steven. From rags to riches. Nobody believed in him (expect for everyone who somewhat follows cycling). Yes, let's hope he takes revenge on all them bad latinos, they don't speak proper english and cry in real life instead of internet.

Ugh, thats 3 minutes in the bottom and Nibali has Scarponi...
Kruiswijk is leading. Chaves is the favourite for the jersey now me thinks.
