What is this bullshit about waiting? Nibali's a great descender, let him descend. It's up to the other riders to try and follow his pace or choose for safety and let him go. Should Boonen have waited on Hushovd after he crashed on the cobbles in Paris-Roubaix 2009?
was Hushovd tour leader?
He was leading the race at the time, Boonen rode past him and the rest is history. Descending or cobbles, if you go too fast for your bike handling skills, it's your own fault you crash and other riders should not have to wait for you.
Ullrich waiting for Armstrong, who crashed because of a spectator, is a totaly different issue.
Ullrich rolled himself over a bars on descent..Lance waited him..beat that
Because the Tour was already decided at that point. I strongly doubt he would have waited if Ullrich was in yellow, this is Armstrong we're talking about.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

It's not Valv. I thought I saw a Movistar with Nibali because GPS Giro has said before the ad that Valv was close. Hm.

Because Ulrich was never a threat anyway. He's the only guy Armstrong didn't push UCI to harrass with constant doping tests. Any real threat to Armstrong was removed with corruption way before the Tour actually started |

On the other hand Cancellara and Vanmarcke didnt wait for Stybar when he clipped a spectator on Carrefour
Wasn't that Vandenbergh? Either way, that happened behind them while Cance was giving everything he had. You can't expect them to wait to see if he fell on his own or hit a spectator.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

That crash might cause problems for Kruijswijk tomorrow with 3 descents and his confidence had to take a hit

Might sound harsh, but that descent really shown me why Romans enjoyed gladiatorial games so much I want more ''blood''.

Actually both Vandenbergh and Stybar were clipped but Stybar miraculously saved it by unclipping but he could never get back.
Yeah I understand but it was just an example that it doesnt oblige riders to wait for each. This is just the way race unfolds and thats it.
Sorry for quote pyramid but im on the phone |
