What is this bullshit about waiting? Nibali's a great descender, let him descend. It's up to the other riders to try and follow his pace or choose for safety and let him go. Should Boonen have waited on Hushovd after he crashed on the cobbles in Paris-Roubaix 2009?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

It's a bit tricky isn't it? He only came down to his own mistake so it's a bit of a grey area
Nothing grey whatsoever. He crashed on the descent, the win is on the line. Ascending, descending, TT, sprinting is part of the game.
This is a man's game!!!
Zakarin on your men sport! Fuck this
Do you want to neutralise the descents? Just curious
No..don't be silly. I still find stupid attack's when tour leader has mechanical or crash. |

I hope it's not a career ending crash.

Agree. I have no clue to why people would/should wait |

If you want epic climbing battles you get descents. Part of the going uphill is that there will always be a downhill.
If they can't descent they shouldn't ride in the high mountains.
But also some of these high-end carbon bikes and wheels are way to wobbly and flimsy at highspeed descents. |

That's just not true! Todays Carbon bikes are way more stable that anything from the Steel era, it also takes a fair amount to break them. Also the modern Carbon wheels are also very well made and rarely fail badly now
