Ladies (?) and gentlemen - at the very last minute, Project: Africa has been saved by the South African telecoms giant, Telkom! Turns out nobody picked up on the hints of two images of Telkom phone booths in our two previous posts.

The company was impressed by our team's image and stands firmly behind our stance to develop the African continent. By means of a big financial injection, the team has been saved and talks of a larger budget for the coming season is already underway. As for the name, the team will be known as
"Team Telkom for Africa".
