I apologise, I think I misread that you had only looked through some of the HQ threads so far and missed the other side of the during the season game so wanted to make sure you knew that there is still plenty to do and not think that there is limited opportunity to interact with the MG world.
btw, crommy's Bouygues thread is also a great one to look at if you've not found it yet.
And in terms of races to look at Tour of America would be the one I'd guide you toward first a 21 stage C1 race so it doesn't involve the best riders in the man game but is still a really good race with plenty of discussion, and most pro tour races would be good to look at aswell.
oh and it would probably help to look through the DB at some point aswell if you want to be prepared before deciding to apply to join as it's totally different from current DB's both in terms of stats and dominant riders and even some rider's specialisations are different.
I'm not sure which one is the most up to date as we are currently on a break between seasons and it will end up changing further before the next season starts. (gaps between seasons are not normally this long but SN who runs the majority of the behind the scenes part of the game is really busy so we are currently on hold)
Thanks for the pointers, I`ll take a look at those as well. I already planned to peek at the DB (or the one from last year, to get an impression), as the FAQ warned about the rider stats, but for a new visitor of this part of the forum it`s pretty chaotic at first sight with all those threads, HQs and transfer deals all happening in their own threads and all. For someone not proficient with creating bikes and jerseys I also needed to look up what others do when they can`t do that either. Plenty of things to research before jumping in after all
I just wanted to make sure I`m not doing something incredibly stupid by not following a part of the threads where things are happening because I didn`t know those were supposed to have important information/interaction and missing out on a whole bunch of stuff - and getting blamed for that
I know there`s a Skype chat for it, might join that as well if I`ve made up my mind.
After a break which coinincided with my lost passion for Cycling which was a factor in my decision to leave the MG as my activity levels on the forum dropped. I am looking to apply for this again next season.

You could probably still continue your old team honestly. We haven't even done renewals yet.

You could probably still continue your old team honestly. We haven't even done renewals yet.
I will leave that decision to the moderators because application opened and my team spot would have been filled by someone new and I don't want to take anyone's place, I would much rather go through the proper procedure.
