I'm sure he's not in it for the team but what if Nieve were to lose only a minute, the GC riders are another minute behind...all highly unlikely anyway of course

Yes, I don't dispute that, all I say is he probably is the most passive GC rider and taking into consideration he can't TT and is a pure climber, I don't like it. Not at all. Leipheimer is another case, but he would demolish people on TT's. |

It would be nice to see Nieve go to another team to be able to go stage hunting more often
