Cannondale really should let Lampre work in the breakaway.
Uran is behind and Ulissi a danger. Hence Koshevoy and Mohoric should work imo.
Also 5 riders in the breakaway were covered in todays bet here. Nice to see. |

Bentacur in trouble. Sad that season has not been working out at Movistar also. Still do not give up hope on that guy |

He was a tad better than last 2 years though. Just not consistent really.
Must be a new trend though. Same happens to Arredondo at the moment. Not really a lot to see since 2014. Trek surely had hoped for more after his good 2014 debut year. |

Its the same trend, Betancur is very good on the hills, but really, really bad on real mountains. |

It seems Arredondo is still struggling with his neck/back problems that destroyed his 2015 season. Can't believe he just has bad shape all this season. I'm fearing he might retire soon.
As for Betancur, his season has been a roaring success compared to what I expected. He has now moved to Spain with his family, which is very promising. I'm very worried about his plan of going home to Colombia for a break after the Giro though.
I think Betancur needs to be in top shape to be able to climb mountains. He's been decent on the hills this year, but his Giro is a bit underwhelming. But last year he improved throughout the race, so let's hope for the same now.

I hate when talent getting wasted. Sry when it is health problems like Arredondo..or Taaramäe..who will never ride at level where he was.
But Bentacur ..well this is another story |

Think Betancur said he is still carrying an excess 7kg going into the Grio (?) so the high mountains are going to show that up pretty quickly.
Try carrying an extra 8-10 full water bottles with you when riding uphill and you get an idea of the handicap |
