Like your hero Froome?

What?
You were saying that Froome is gonna do a great ride on LBL which he din't do(I don't remember what you said exactly). Also you are saying that Zaka has a lot to learn with his riding style. Also Froome crashed in two consecutive stages in TDF 2014.

When I said that Froome may had a chance at LBL I meant it sarcastic as a reaction to the comments of the other ones already who already bet when he abandons. The post you quoted was not about his riding style, but because of his second fall in the last corner.
Oh and I'm no Froome fan btw Grin

"una caída" = a crash. That might explain why he was quite so terrible.

One of the great secrets is what have happened to Urán on the ITT, I don't understand how he can go from annihilating the opposition in 2014 to this?

What the hell happened today? Looking at the results, it's odd.

Nibali, did he even prepare for this giro? He really doesn't seem very impressive. I didn't follow the giro really this weekend so maybe I'm wrong but he seems kind of weak.
Dumoulin? Why didn't he do better this time trial?

Where did Roglic come from? Suddenly a top TT rider?
Brambilla, nice for him. Deserves it.
Kruiswijk doing good, like to see that. He's a Giro man.

Lotto with an amazing giro so far.
Etixx as well. But I always find Etixx much more dodgy for some reason Pfft

he has been good early..almost won a prologue also

Brambilla, nice for him. Deserves it.
Kruiswijk doing good, like to see that. He's a Giro man.

Yes..and let's hope Kruijswijk will last also 3rd week..he has been good already from Yorkshire

Lotto with an amazing giro so far.
Etixx as well. But I always find Etixx much more dodgy for some reason Pfft

Both lotto teams can be happy. Ettix is weird ..zero results at classics and now this

Landa did a better TT than many may have expected, all things considered, and kept himself in a good GC position. I bet on him before, and now that his biggest problem is out of the way I am pretty confident he'll deliver Sky's first non-Tour GT win.

If Movistar play their cards certain ways on Tuesday, Amador will be next in pink, which I'd really love, but it may be too late for that sort of sentimentality, and it may be all in for Valverde. So far, however, I almost want to say that Amador is more ready for a GC challenge than his higher-up. His doing exactly the same thing as last year - moving up to 3rd in the GC after the long ITT, with even better opposition - seems indicative that his form is even better than this time last year. But I'm probably biased.

to the surprising results yesterday from Roglic: keep in mind that he never trained TT bike before this season. He had 1 TT with more than 10ks raced before this...so he might be a light version of Biabolocki the last year

With all the hard stages to come (they haven't even done a real climb yet) I still think it's to early to make the call that Nibali is weak, he has been attentive and outside of one weak attack he has looked fine to me, I can still see plenty of stages where Nibali and Astana could take time. The only GC guys who looks in trouble is Zakarin and Uran after that horrible performance by Zakarin the TT, he might respond well and win a stage or he could drop his bundle do nothing for the rest of the race. Uran performed as expected in the TT and lost time so he won't be contesting for the podium but with the times so close might be able to work his way into the top 5 but it will be difficult.

Valverde is still the better bet for Movistar, people are jumping to a heap of conclusions already but the race is yet to get hard, Amador looks good but really should be going all in for the team leader.
Landa hasn't looked great but did ride a fantastic TT so maybe he has been playing it safe and will now go out on the attack which would make sense

Would be a shame if Jungels can't get pink on stage 10. brambilla wont keep it. looking at that stage, it's likely that a complete GC overhaul could see him miss it and someone of the mountain riders gets his hands on it. that would suck a lil

The next stage will be hard to control for Etixx so I agree it will be hard for Brambilla to hold on but he is in great form and same goes for Jungels, it really does depend on if any of the GC teams want the Pink yet or if a break can get away with a big enough gap that someone from that takes Pink. It would be good to see Jungels take it but don't want to see him burn himself out trying to take it and then defend it with so many hard stages to come

Perhaps.
Nibali has always been a strange rider, so maybe you are right.
In that Tour he won, he looked so strong from start to finish, though.
At other times, he just seems so lost. But he's probably the kind of rider who needs that to build up the right form. Like he usually "sucks" at the Dauphiné before the Tour.

Yes, I suppose it is difficult to really determine anything solid yet about Movistar's situation. Regardless of whether or not Amador was supposed to be a co-captain, I still think they will use his current position to it's fullest, especially because of his underdog status - still amazes me that there are practically zero news articles about Amador, hardly even a mention. Aside from the media, it doesn't seem that the top GC contenders are taking Amador seriously either, which puts Movistar in a very good place. Besides, they did say they wanted to put both riders on the podium, so I doubt they'll dash that any time soon, especially with the both of them comfortable in the top 10.

Movistar has been best with 2 GC potential riders.
Soon it will be new rule at every team..If you want a win GT ..you need to mess up things with 2 guys.
