Maybe not for the GC riders, but it is crazy that no stage chasers decided to join the hunt while the peloton was on vacation
Well the 2 riders had a 4 minute gap when Wellens, Lighart and Didier jumped from the peloton and chased them down so i'm not to sure what you mean
You mean the 2 riders who have never won anything, spent the entire day in front and lost 7 minutes on a descent? Hardly competitors
Well I have seen weaker riders beat stronger riders plenty of times so Wellens wasn't certain to win and the stage hasn't been given away but yeah we all have our own opinions
