Nice! I picked him too but only to the tune of $25 - was running out of money already this year
You guys should head over to the betting-thread and play with real money like a REAL man
Good find there, Strydz.
Great stage. Disappointed that Valverde didn't win. Landa was actually in problems and was kinda lucky to survive today, he may have been placed badly or simply didn't have the legs, who knows.
This is how Giro stages should be. Intense and unpredictable, I love it. |

Geniez DNF.
I think its a clear message to the French riders in this year's Giro... and when you finally win in Italy, you'll get sued! |

Didn't watch the stage. What's up with Wellens, why so far behind?

He attacked early, but didn't have a good day it seems.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

We should count how many attacks he has done by the end of the Giro.
How many today? Was it just that one or did he attempt to breakaway numerous times? |

Does someone know a good site to watch highlights from each stage? I missed today's stage, unfortunately... |

Love how Preidler's developing. Has become really good at shorter TTs and looked really good today until Ulissi went.

He was with Ulissi, Pirazzi and a couple of others and Pirazzi went on the final climb with Ulissi coming over the top of that and the others cracked and he went away, I assume at that stage Wellens sat up and thats why he dropped back through the field

I've never seen Kruijswijk so well in the 1st week. If his 3rd week recuperation-trick also still works, then he's gonna have a blast.
Nibali looks very strong already, looks like he peaked right. For me the main favourite since Landa will lose a lot in TT |

But if he struggled today he may lose time on Roccaraso and Alpe di Poti stages.
Also Nibbles looked strong but not that strong. He is way better than Trentino so imo he will improve. |

I think Nibali is where he needs to be. He will be probably be silent on stage 6-8 but then deliver an amazing time trial putting some serious time into Landa. Don't think we will see much from the big contenders before we reach teh third week. (at least not in the shape of solo attacks) |

Also I'm now more inclined to believe Valv.Piti. Dumoulin is throwing sand into the eyes of others if he says he is 'not going for the gc'. I don't buy it anymore. |

True, stage 13 and 14 are stages almost made for Nibali as a rider. If he feels well, i can't imagen Astana passing up on a chance to make a difference in the GC.

I think this is the best first week in a Grand Tour he's ever had and this just the fourth stage
Let's just hope his 3rd week stunts done in the past weren't cause by the 1st week no-shows.

You can run and hide, but at some point, you'll always come to the nauseating conclusion that Valv.Piti was right all along |

I have seen to many GT to decide who' s gonna be good. Like Menchov always managed to be good at tour first mountain.
And profile is like always ..3week will make difference.
Kruijswijk was already active and visible at Yorkshire tour.
still..real mountains will make difference ..how Dumoulin will survive there? |
