Is it too early to start a thread for this Summer's Euro's yet
I'm personally counting down the days. I love the summer football tournaments.
Come on England!!!!
I actually think our squad is better now then the so called golden generation. The hype built up in England is much lower this time so I wouldn't be surprised if we have a good tournament. We've had a decent draw and should get to the Quarter-Finals comfortably (Famous Last Words) and from there anything can happen. |

Vincent Komapny to play 4 minutes, then gets injured for the rest of the tournament.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

When you got De Bruyne, Mertens and Hazard you can just outscore teams |

Go Iceland!
Too bad Finland didn't make it, there's something suspicious about how they kept Riski from dominating the tournament.

I'll quote Waghlon from the High Risk thread:

Spain or Germany will win and Sweden won't advance from the group stage. |

Sweden have got an excellent chance- U21 champions. Also, he might not get into the team but Hijlemark became a West Brom legend on one of my FM saves.
Whatever happened to Seb Larsson?

Is there any interest in a prediction game like we did with the World Cup?

Go Turkey and Iceland!
Turkey to get knocked in the group phrase or go to the semis unless they play with Germany on the quarters. |

Oxlade-Chamberlain is out of the Euros for England, Henderson expected to be fit. Kompany will have his results on Monday to say whether or not he will be available for Belgium. |

I hope Hodgson has the balls to leave Rooney out and play Kane and Vardy up front. They showed how good their pairing can be against Germany in the last set of friendlies. And please keep Sturridge in the squad, he showed his class yesterday. Delle Alli deserves to start with man-machine Milner in midfield. A little light with the wide players but good full-backs in Clyne, Walker and Rose should make up for it.
Coming to my eternal favourites Germany. Yes they CAN. Emre another one knocking on the door for a regular starting spot. You know Reus will start every game but Gotze won't. With the talent those guys have coming through the ranks again, it'll be hard to select 23 players and then 11 starters!

Welbeck now a major doubt. Looks like Englands usual pre-tournament injury crisis is about to kick in. |

Bad news for Belgium - Kompany's injury during Manchester City's semi-final match against Real Madrid means that he's out from Euro 2016

I'd call that good news, now we don't have to use our first sub 4 minutes into the game (unless Vermaelen plays of course).
But seriously, Alderweireld has had a fantastic season and would be the obvious choice for CB now. The only problem is that we don't have any decent right back.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Neither Oxlade, Henderson nor Welbeck would be starting players for England (or at least they shouldn't be). I would like to have Henderson though, really good solid player in the midfield.
Oxlade's always seemed flaky to me, and Welbeck can now be replaced with Carrol or Defoe which is much better.

More likely to be replaced with Walcott Don't think Carroll or Defoe will be anywhere near the squad. Think both could do a job from the bench but Defoe is too old and Carroll is too injury prone. Neither have been selected by Hodgson much and he seems to stay loyal to players her has selected.
Forwards will be Rooney, Kane, Vardy, Sturridge, Stirling and possible Walcott now that Welbeck is injured. |
