John Degenkolb makes his comeback next week in Frankfurt Eschborn.

Great to see him back in the peloton as last of the Giant Alpecin squad.

Rogers is a big loss for the Tinkoff team in le Tour.

Hopefully this means Valgren gets his spot.

Valgren is in regardless me thinks. It opens up for Jesper Hansen, just read a danish article describing why he originally was scheduled to Giro but isn't anymore. Coming off a 2nd place in Croatia after sickness (his words), I think he has a decent shot. What will the team look like?

Contador
Majka
Kreuziger
Sagan
Benna
Tosatto
Valgren
Paulinho
Trofimov

Probably the most likely team, but if he proves better than Trofimov, who knows

Edit: Kiserlovski isn't scheduled to ride Giro as I thought, so is is also an option.

he really is.
You always need a good road captain..and he is one of them.
He has done tons of work for leaders.. If I am remebering correctly he started just once tour has team leader and possible podium candidate..then managed to crash and brake collarbone at first week.

Now Cardiac problems.

My friend Riis123 says: thank god! (or I missed a point again?)
what a nice guy.

Why shouldn't people be happy to see this career doper out of the sport? I'm sorry he has heart issues but the fact he has finally retired is a good thing.

You are not real i think, you are bot programmed by isso, programmed to never learn English properly even after 10 years of discussions on english server .Pfft

Do you remeber Rogers in MAPEI? Do you remember him in fricking T-Mobile dopehouse? Do you remeber him in SKY, where he was like reborn man, dropping stars as head of their mountain train? Everybody who has eyes and knows something about cycling knows that Rogers is a career doper...
I'll be back

I really don't know why members have such strong opinions against dopers in cycling. Cycling has always been a dirty sport and always will be and I don't ever see that changing to be honest.

If a rider dopes and gets caught he pays the price and that's the risk he takes, while a whole load of others are always constantly under suspicion despite never being caught and get away with it.

Doping is as common in cycling as diving is in football, They're both a form of cheating but hardly surprising to see or hear about.

at least one sober person. Beside hypocrites and truth monopoly owners.
Note: beside football can be doped as cycling.

Even more significantly, if somebody actually had the time to go through every rider currently racing in the peloton, that has actually been caught and banned for doping at some point in their career. I'm sure that the list would be a fair size. I'm also certain that the same list could then be multiplied quite a few times for those riders that have been suspected of doping but never caught.

What I also find strange is how certain members will criticize Rogers for being a career doper and it's good how he has now left the sport and then go on about how riders like Valverde and Contador for example are their favourite riders on another post.
