Valverde desreves 82. He is 35 and in career he drops to 79 in a year when his stat is 81 :/

Diego Rosa too, sure he did well with the fifth place in Lombardia and Strade Bianche but 78 is too OP, besides those two he haven't done much too deserve his stat and he's always been more of a climber than a hill specialist too me. But true Rodriguez was a big disappointment.
Milano - Torino. No kidding, that was really impressive.

The EP has him on 82 for at least 2 years now.

Pretty much everyone above 30 y.o seems too drop. That's something i'd want for PCM16,m that riders drop during their off season (October to January), it's very rarely riders drop during a season anyway, that mess up stat making imo.
Milano - Torino. No kidding, that was really impressive.
I forgot about that race.
New York Knicks - Bardiani CFS - AG2R - Millwall FC - Le Havre AC

No big changes at the moment till after LBL, but I'm expecting some drops for a lot of bigger hill stat riders who haven't performed. The only changes I've made have been Barguil to 77, Gasparotto to 78 (provisional) an upgrade for Woods and a number of Cofidis guys that did very well to the region of 75. Also lots of smaller riders have got stat increases as well.
I saw some negative comments about Rosa not doing too much, well he was superb at Basque country and the other thing worth remembering is that there are a number of hill riders that don't actually really do that well at Ardennes classics but do well in other hilly races/stages.
Personally I also thought that Valverde is probably about 2 points better than Alaphilippe anyway, but we'll see after LBL for this and everybody else.

I get your point but Rosa was in a breakaway on the stage he won in Pais Vasco. And looking back on his other results (Besides Milano-Torino) he only had a couple top results on stages without a hill finish like the ones in the ardennes, so he should rather be given more FLAT and other secondary stats, i feel like 76-77 would be fine but sure lets wait for LBL.

His Lombardia was likely the most impressive showing of a domestique in the last year. He looked like he had better legs than Nibali even! Kept on closing on each attack until his captain attacked downhill, and then proceeded to get in the top 5.
That said, that's subjective as it gets

Matteo Bono to get a boost after being in what seems like every classic break since 2013/14?
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

Huub Duyn getting 33rd deserves maybe 74 hill and bit better MO?
Very solid rider also getting 13th in Brabantse Pijl as well. Also 6th in Volta Limburg classic (also hilly race).
Also De Tier doing well. Don't know his stats atm but maybe could be raised? |

Young rider additions
Today I would like to present a project of the PCM.daily DB stats making team. We want to bring in some new additions to the Free Agents. Therefore we are searching for the best missing young riders in the db, with a special focus on the U23 races and Youth races.
There are 2 chances of participating in this process. Firstly you can just make suggestions for riders here. Secondly you can play in active role in the statmaking process. This will take place like this: You send me a PM, that you are interested in taking an active part. We´ll have some talks and if the general ideas are fitting I´ll be happy to give you an access to our young riders ladder, where you can directly implement riders and stat suggestions.
I´m looking forward to your responses.
Greetings, Croatia14

I'm currently mapping out a Wanty season in anticipation of the stat update and was wondering if there are any significant changes. Claeys getting a raise in COB is pretty obvious and a possible stat increase for Gaspa is not what I call significant, I'm mostly looking towards riders like Antonini, Minnaard, Dron, Martin, McNally etc.. |

Yer Claeys has had a good boost and Gasparotto has had a small rise and confirmed that he's still going very well.
Over the last month or so I've done quite a few changes to some of the Wanty riders as they've performed really well as a team most of this season. Have made a note of the riders you've just mentioned and will double check those before the April update.

Oh, it's not that I think these riders specifically deserve an upgrade, they're just the riders with (almost) all "grey" stats (as opposed to green 70+ stats) which usually means they haven't shown their speciality yet.
For example, Antonini has 60 in COB but he has raced all cobbled races up until his crash in Gent-Wevelgem and he's described as a "Flemmish" rider on their homepage, so I figured he might have gotten an update in COB.
Boris Dron rode very aggressively in Catalunya and finished 2nd in the climbing classification, is another example.
The reason why I'm curious is because I'm already "researching" my upcoming career in terms of planning...
Anyway, thanks for the reply!

I know exactly what you mean when you say grey stats as opposed to green ones. Any PT level team like Wanty that is doing well should have some stats that are green, as that normally gives more confidence when playing with that team. We always try to move as many riders that are possible off the 60 stat as well, so the riders can have some more realism in what they're better at. Therefore for really big races I often end up going through nearly all the finishers within a reasonable time of the winner to check that nobody has really low stats in the 60's for that type of race. As this takes some time, it's only really done for the bigger races.
