I'm trying to create a swedish national championship in the pcmdaily2016db. I've done this in the past, but I haven't played the game in a couple of years. I started playing again quite recently and I can't seem to get the NC to work properly. Since there are no DEM-files for Sweden, I'm using already existing stages. When I try to play with the swedish NC that I created using Lachis editor v26, the stage profile in the loading screen is the profile for the world tour race in Plouay (not the stage that I used). The same for both ITT and RR.
I've contracted some extra swedish riders, so the number of riders should be enough for it to work. Is there something else besides STA_race and STA_stage that I need to edit in order to make the NC work? What I'm I doing wrong? |

Sounds like the files are named incorrectly? What did you name the stage files?

If you can attach your db I'd be glad to take a look at it |

I have used the same stage file as the one day race 'Stockholm Velothon' for my RR. I used copy-paste from Stockholm Velothon to my NC in STA_race, to get the right name of the file. I used the same method with the ITT, but I chose a different file of course.

I changed some things. DYN_race contained the wrong stage references. Now make sure the RR file is named nat-swd and the TT file natitt-swd. In case you want to add a race logo, name it champ_sweden.

The problem is still there. The game crashes in the loading screen and Plouay shows up as the profile when I try to play both ITT and RR. |

I can't check now but aren't the files meant to be named nat_swd and natitt_swd? You might want to try renaming them that? also make sure renaming the cds files as well as the zces files so the profile changes too.

Everything depends on what one has put in DYN_race. Double checked it and I'm sure about what I said, but I know what might've went wrong

I could've been a bit clearer IMO. When renaming the files, don't forget to add a suffix, e.g. nat-swd_v1 or natitt-swd_2018. Could that be the issue? |

Also I noticed you have Tour de Croatia in your DB. Would you mind sharing the files? I haven't been able to find them on the forum. |

I'm not really sure what you mean. Would adding a suffix actually change anything? |

Yeah because it adds a variant name, which all races need afaik.
@kiserlovski: ah, didn't know that either could work.

I tried to ad the suffix, but the problem still remains. As I said before, I haven't played the game in couple of years, so there is a possibility I might be missing something quite obvious. Any ideas?

Are you trying to add the race to an existing career or to a DB that you would like to start a career with? |

I think the problem might be caused by the double presence of fkID_Race 783 and fkID_race 784 in STA_Stage. Try removing IDs 21136 and 21137 in STA_Stage in the cdb that Kiserlovski uploaded, and see if that works
(and keep the file names like nat-swd_whateversuffixyouhave and natitt-swd_whateversuffixyouhave).

Should I type in something else instead? |

Nope. Just remove the last two STA_Stage IDs |

It shows an error message when I try to delete the stage IDs in STA_stage. |
