Didnt have any legs, Landa was just simply the strongest as he went from the bottom. Fugelsang the best from Astana. |

I take that back...the riders participating in the race are pretty equal...just had a look at the teams competing and there are better teams in Croatia then in Trentino

In thee teams case you are right because it is 5 vs 3 in favour of Croatia
But Trentino has Nibali,Landa,Bardet,Pozzovivo,Peraud,Cunego.
Croatia has Cavendish,Nizzolo,Pelucchi.
So in the riders,Trentino takes it. |

Whole Astana team (apart from Fuglsang) did training camp at Teide till couple days ago. It's normal that the first hard test after altitude training is not very good.

But so did the rest of the Astana-squad and Kangert, Fuglsang and Scarponi are better than him. Its worrying IMO. |
