No forfeit scores this time. Although one player was over the deadline, the entire competition was moved up a few days because of heavy snow storms (sounds plausible, doesn't it?).
It's been a ruthless match day, with plenty of 3-pointers. The League looks more open to win than ever. It looks like we're heading towards an extremely exciting finish. But it's too soon for that. We still have a lot of matches left until then.
And matt has lost his league lead position for the first time! Another proof that things are not going to go down easy.
Match of the Week: jaxika and sammy went head to head in a very tiring match. Heavy pointers in the first two sets. In the end, it all boiled down to the final set, where jaxika took the 2 points by a single set point against sammy's nil. An anticlimax to an amazing game, but enough to secure jaxika the win.

Meanwhile, I can celebrate the 4th victory in a row (league only) -> more points than everybody else since the first cup round. If only those early match days could be deleted

Another big day for the top of the league. jaxika takes an important three points and is now 2 points in the lead. However, with 6 match days left, it seems everyone still has a fighting chance. Well, perhaps Mars, jihardy and jandal will really need to up their ante for the win...
Matt is the biggest slayer so far, with 15 sets to his advantage and the most victories. However jaxika is sneakier and has the best defence of the league. Jandal is adrift, with only 6 won sets in 9 games. If he takes the Cup, it'll at least save his season!
Match of the Week: Once again sammy delivers the MotW, playing against knockout. Both players came out with heavy numbers, but both hit the nil. 12 - 0 and 0 - 15. That means the final set was the only one where both players really hit each other. Sammy came out on top and stays in the running for the League title.

This is probably my best win next to the 19-1-0. I mean wow going for 15 was never so perfect. Probably the most important as well as I don't slide further away from the lead.

On match day 9:
Matt is second with 13 points.
knockout is 13th with 9 points.
Proving the league got closer together but also that knockout took 8 points in the time that matt took "only" 4 |

As you have said earlier, this game is really interesting for statistics. The further we come into the season, the more tight the table should get!
Forfeits (in particular from the same users) mess it up a bit though. |
