PCM crashing

Hey my pcm has suddenly started crashing a lot, it started yesterday where it crashed a few times in carrer but i was able to continue. However today it has come to the point where i cant even launch the game. Does anyone have an idea what causes this, and any advice on how to fix it? |

What is the date of your career? What stage is on that day? What db have you installed?

I have the latest daily, and this was installed after a clean install. I cant say the exact date, but it is one of the early stages in the tour, however it also crashed on other dates so i dont know if it is this one date that is he problem. |

I was able to get to the game intro when i launched this time, but all i got was a blue screen afterwards |

Sadly without mentioning the exact date I cant help much, nor without knowing the exact stage. Can you play it one off mode?

Hi guys, I was just wondering if anyone could help me with my game constantly crashing after season 1 in career mode?
I play on the 2015 pcmdaily expasion, and it is not that it crashes on new years between 2015 and 2016, but rather at a random date throughout either 2016 or 2017 (never had a career last longer) there comes a stage in a stage race which crashes the game, and I can't go past it. Today it happened on my Tinkoff save where the last stage of the 2016 Vuetla (a 60km tt from Bilbao to Gaztelugaxte) maks me crash.
Any solutions? Is ther a way of jumping over a date for example in an editor or something?

It's related to the fact that it's a cobbled ITT. The easiest solution is to replace the stage. In this case it seems to be top_vuelta_21_samu12.
What you do, is first of all remember that name. Then delete the zces and cds file of the stage. Then you take the stage you want to use for replacement. (For example top_vuelta_21_2015). You copy the cds and zces file of that stage, and rename the copies to the name of the replaced stage.

Mine was started crashing a lot today too. I have edited my own database and was working fine yesterday. Crashes no matter what mode I try to start in (old careers were just were the vraisNoms db. Game doesn't even want to start a new cerrer, procyclist or one off race even with the official release db. I am backing up data that I have downloaded and performing a clean install to see if that works but it all started after designing a stage for my Vastsverige runt and exporting it. Don't even have the stage transferred in my cm_stages folder yet either.

OKay, clean install worked with no patch and the official release DB, now to slowly add other bits in to see what the problem was.

It appears only the clean install works. Whenever I try and use the official release database now no matter whether it is extra stages, graphics or databases, even the patch. I can't get past the second screen. This is in pro cyclist mode, one off race or career. Any help would be appreciated as I don't want to have the crappy cyanide names for riders, teams or races.

Just tested to see if I can load old save games and they appear to load. Haven't tried to advance any further but I find it very weird that I can load an old game but not start any new ones.

Working again now. Must've been the cdx files. Handy hint, even if you have cds or zces files for a race do NOT delete any of the cdx files. It is the only thing I did different from last time game was working until now.

Hi, i got a problem with the crashing thingy, I can move forward to the next day, but i gotta use the calendar to do so. And it's kinda frustating. So, I was wondring if anyone got some sort of solution.
My DB is PCMDaily2016_v1
The day is 7 July 2018
The race is TdF 6 stage from Arras to Reims 191,6 km long

To move forward, from 7. july to 8. july i cant use the contuine button (it will crash if I do so)
But i can use the calendar to go forward with the game, thats my problem. I cant use the contuine button, and its frustrating to use the calendar and not just hit spacebar |
