By the way, this race is going for WT next year (as is Brabantse Pijl), would be nice to have a short stage race with the best cobble riders. Action is definitely good so far
Hope the request is denied.
Interesting enough as it is (between all these WT races).
This becoming WT would mean WT teams need their precious points and stop sending their younger riders etc here. Would be a shame.
Also would mean we'd have Movistar including Betancur here. Well, not Euskaltel but you know what I mean
Fixed! |

It's been a trend for a few races now, but we always have a long, nice race. Attacking mindset from far out, groups riding away, fight on many fronts. I love it.
It will probably last until Roubaix and then the Ardennes will put me to sleep |

It's a2vs1 now, with luke Rowe dropping, I don't see them cooperating till the finish. Although it looks like Rowe is going to get back.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Yep, he is a huge talent. His abilities are Cance-esque in terms of cobbles and TT's |

I more and more believe that Etixx stupid tactics come from a obsession to win races on sprint.
Look on today: they worked like shit to get Kittel the win, and who ever accelerated on the last hill (it wasn't Martin I believe) dropped Kittel.
Same in GW: they worked for Gaviria, and then failed.
Everytime they have tried working for a sprinter they failed, because they can't seem to work as they want because they are scared to drop their "leader".
Might be bullshit, and I'm just making this up because I think Etixx could've, and should've worked for Trentin in both E3 and GW. |

They worked for Trentin in E3, that also failed horribly. I didn't expect this, but I think Boonen might be their best shot at this point. And the rest should attack/anticpate like crazy, because it's clear they don't have anyone who can follow when the big guys make their move.

They worked for Trentin at E3 after Trentin worked like a god during the medium phase of the race. He was empty at the end because of it.
And no, Boonen isn't their best bet. Stybar still is. |

That's exactly the problem. When a big acceleration comes on Kwaremont from Cancellara. Who will be able to follow? GVA? Vanmarcke? I highly doubt anyone from Etixx will be able to do it. Its a strong team across the board but other teams leaders are stronger than anyone on the Etixx team.
Their best shot is Roubaix with Tommeke and Terpstra IMO. |

I mean, this is really stupid riding by Lutsenko, attack on the last hill or pace all the way for Westra, Westra is a good TTer and can win the overall. |

no Westra was the idiot.
He should've attacked after Kristoff responded to Lutsenko's attack.
