You have to understand Contador trying to come up with all types of excuses though. It's not easy to top the bilharzia excuse.
Indeed.
Clenbuterol excuse was good but it doesn't top Froome being both bilharzia and asthma at the same time which is impossible
Also he said he was in a great form before the start of Tour 2013.Then he just performed horrible. |

Soooo shall we talk about Froome's domination of the Vuelta a Catalunya as you 100% correctly predicted without assuming it would be necessarily true???

Great ride by Quintana. I think Contador was a little to eager and aggresive and that might have cost him the overall win. He would have been beat by Quintana no matter what, but i'm not sure he would have lost 13 sec if he had been a little cold and not do massive drags and attacks with Quintana on his wheel.
On another note, i'm a bit suprised by the weak shape Froome is in. Is it on purpose, or is his training a bit of? |

Don't twist the argument. You said Froome was sure to win Catalunya which he didn't. |

It`s one thing to predict something/believe in something.
But it`s a far bigger thing to admit if you were wrong. |

Looking forward to hear Contadope's (and Contadope`s fanboys) excuses for not winning
Arberg, please and on a seriously advise, troll your family but leave us on peace, ok?
But he does come out with a lot of excuses when he doesn't win and his fans are even worse for this (Paris-Nice was a great example of this) and he is a career doper. Arberg is doing some low grade trolling but he isn't far of of the mark about Contador and his fans.
What are you talking about, what excuses? If we can't write about Contador and how his form, progress etc is and what may or may not be in his favor, then we seriously have to think about the purpose of this forum at all bc cycling forum sure aint about cycling then.

Uhm okay.
Regardless of that, Contador only being 8 secs down on Quintana plus BMC duo within striking distance makes this still an open race. There could be some good racing on the table after the two mountain stages were mostly final km-battles. Hoping for some repeat of Contador-Porte dynamic in Barcelona, but preferably tomorrow.

I think tommorrows stage might be hard to attack on. From the top of the last climb, it seems that there is a bit to far to the finish line.
The way i see it, the final stage is the only real option there is, to change the overall standings. |

Yes, because it obviously means so much to you. I am not the only one in the world there was wrong. But beautiful Quintana destroyed 2ontadope. |

Everyone makes mistakes. But realizing and admiting is something and just keeping trolling is something else. |

I'm so late but...
24/02/21 - kandesbunzler said “I don't drink famous people."
15/08/22 - SotD said "Your [jandal's] humour is overrated"
11/06/24 - knockout said "Winning is fine I guess. Truth be told this felt completely unimportant."

I think breakaway as well, Perhaps Orica will try and hold it together for a reduced bunch sprint.
Regarding Froome, i just think he normally are very strong despite coming back for his first race, but not this time anyhow
Aru is only ready when it's grand tour time ;D |
