There was a request to convert the TDF 2009 variant to PCM 15, that I don't want to hold back from you.

clamel
It might have been me.
But I do believe those 2009 stages with zcts-files are in the Stage Database.
It might be the other TDF 2002, for one.

And I do have had torrents running on Dauphine 2005 and TDF 2002 for months on end. Of course no-one seeds. Do you have those zcts files mate ????

Could you please find them !!!!

Yes, they are in the Stage Database. But not everyone knows how to convert them.

Those torrents are dead. I've searched all my hard drives at home, but I couldn't find them. There is nothing I can do. All you can do is use the PCM 13 files to play in PCM 15, which should work?!

clamel
They work alright, but some have smaller issues. Like the cds-file is not working of course, showing the parcour. But more sad is that some stages are kind of "messy" graphical in the end, with VIPs-fences-spectators in the middle of the road. The issue of just fire up the zcts and un-tick merge, re-generate borders fixes that.
But as mentioned no zcts no edit and fixing.
Whatever you got left of those great stages 2011-2012 that is not in DB I would love to get my hands on.
Sad if they all are lost.

You got TWO issue in the stage database with errors in trying to DL files.

I'm sorry, as I said I don't have any other ztcs than the TDF 2009. It's a shame. All the good work is gone... Sad

Tour de France - Variant

Info

Welcome. This is my new variant of the Tour de France. It takes you from Dunkerque and over 3400 kilometres to Paris. The start is for the first time in the history of the race (as far as I know) a team time trial. After a few flat stages in the northern region, the peloton settles for the Massif Centrale, where three more or less mountainous stages will be held including the mountain stage to Prat Peyrot. Then the route takes you into the Pyrenees, especially to the a mountain top finish which will be staged in Cadanchú at the Spanish border. However, before the Pyrenees, there's the first individual time trial in Orthez. After that, it's just a quick visit in the Pyrenees, because this year it's all about the Alpes. But first we visit the Provence with its beautiful landscapes and the Mont Ventoux. The Ventoux will be climbed twice, actually. Then the southern Alpes provide two big mountain stages with finishes in Isola 2000 and Barcelonette followed by the second long time trial from Embrun to Briancon. For the last stage, which is the Queens stage of the Tour, the route takes us from Grenoble to Ski Resort of Valmorel, where the outcome of the Tour will be finally decided. All in all, there are 7 mountain stages with 5 mountain-top finishes. Including the stage to Paris, there are 6 flat stages for the sprinters and two further mostly flat stages with an uprising finish line. There are three time-trials, one for the team and two individual kinds. Altogether they combine around 100 kilometres, 85 kilometres for the individuals.

Stage 1 - Dunkerque (Team Time Trial)

www2.pic-upload.de/img/30110787/DunkurqueTTT.png

The Grand Depart of the Tour is placed in the Nord-Pas-de-Calais region of France. It's the city of Dunkerque which host the special start of the Tour. In fact, the Tour will start with a team time trial over 18 kilometers. The course leads through the centre to the outskirts of the city and finishes at the coast of Dunkerque. With a length of 18 kilometers, there won't be any crucial time gaps but a first order of the general classification. However, the wind is an x-factor here, so in the end mother nature calls the shots.

Will be good to finish with a time trial. makes it more exciting Smile

By the way will it be on the Champs Elysees ?

bigggassi
Well, I planned 20 stages, leaving the 21th stage to the Cyanide version. They made the Paris stage really good. But I will take a look at it too see if it's possible. If so, it would be definitely at the Champs. Let's wait and see. Pfft

Stage 2 - Calais to Amiens

www2.pic-upload.de/img/30111957/Calais-Amiens.png

The second stage leads from the coast of Calais to the City of Amiens. The 188-kilometre-profile is really flat with just two small hills to generate a leader in the king of the mountains classification. The stage is designed for the sprinters, especially those who overcome a slightly uprising finish line. The finish line isn't steep at all. Maybe 1-2 percent, but probably enough to make the sprint a little bit more challenging. Anyway, the riders for the general classification should be awake, there are time gaps at 15 seconds.

Really hoping that you do this Tour, as it's the kind of balanced Tour that I really like and the pics look good so far from stage 1 and 2.

Thank you very much. All stages are already built. It's just a question of doing the finishing touch and a proper presentation at this point. So I can assure you that this tour will be finished. Smile

interesting to know which big climbs will be in the Tour?

I tried some well-known and some rarely used climbs. Which exactly, I won't share at this point. Wink

Stage 3 - Compiegne to Saint-Dizier

www2.pic-upload.de/img/30115312/03.png

The third stage leads from Compiegne to Saint-Dizier. On the way, 4 mountain classifications and the usual intermediate sprint are waiting for the riders. It's again a flat stage designed for the sprinters. This time without an uprising road at the finish. But this doesn't mean it will be easy. With a length of 215 kilometres and a quite narrow road at the end, good positioning and great endurance will be a factor.

What website do you use for route plotting Big? And how did you get the official Tour style profiles and maps?
