I love the title of the VeloNews article! "Nibali lawyers-up over mean Tweets". Here is my interpretation of how things went at Astana:
Spoiler
Niabli - "Daddy some of the other kids were mean to me!"
Vino - "Don't worry son, we will take care of this. Get me the Russian Mafia!"
Nibali - "I don't want to get the mafia involved, not after Pantani"
Vino - "Fine, but we can't let this go unpunished. If someone questions you integrity for totally valid reasons you must fight back with everything you've got, just ask Armstrong"
Lance - "Exactly! Crush your opponents into dust and ruin everything about their lives and careers!"
Nibali - "Well they won't call me the Shark for nothing! Summon the Lawyers!"
Lawyers - "Look Nibs, there's no legal case here."
Nibali - "Doesn't matter, i'm Vincenzo Nibali and that means i am the most important cyclist in Italy and therefore the world!"
etc. etc.
So Slongo says Nibali could target te Tour because of the ridicolous decision of stage 5 and Brammeier insults Nibali.
Nibali sends this posts to his lawyer and says he'll hand this and in the end probably nothing is gonna happen:https://www.cyclingnews.com/news/nibal...al-action/
And Nibali is the one to blame? |

Brammeir is a lil pussy, go sue him Nibz! I root for you.
Good decision on Bala's part to skip them, it woulda been extremely hard to win Ronde. He also skips Amstel and rides Castilla instead, so it seems its all in for Il Giro. Me gusta.

And what exactly will he sue Brammeir for? If Nibali kept quiet and just took it in his stride then he would look like the bigger man but by sending the Tweets to his lawyer and wanting to take it to Court then he ends up looking like a Tit

John Degenkolb is going to start small training session next week. But it will most likely be about 8-10 weeks until he can participate in races again.
Anyone curious on following Dagenkolb's progress then you can do it on Strava https://www.strava.com/pros/jdegenkolb Only short rides so far but good to see him on the road again

Not sure if he replaces Valverde in those cobbled classics. But guess who is on the startlist for E3, Dwars Door Vlaanderen or Gent Wevelgem.
Carlos Betancur at its best. Wonder if he can finish any of those races. |

He should atleast be heavy enough for the cobbles. |

Bennati out for the classics after his crash in San Remo. In my opinion he was Sagan's most important pawn, but then again he won the worlds with only Juraj and Kolar helping him.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Fuck this, we had a great week of racing and this ruins everything. This is just horrible for such a young rider.
