Several riders are accusing Démare of getting pulled up the Cipressa by the team car after the crash. Will be interesting to see if any (amateur) footage exists.
And looking back now, what a boring race that was!
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Well with the amount of people that were around you'd think that if it happened then some footage will be around, hope it's not true but if it is then kick his arse out of the race!

That doesn't mean it happened, wasn't Kennaugh involved in that same crash and he made it back to the front of the peloton. Anyway one way to find out would be to look at his power files from the race, if he held onto a team car up the Cipressa then it will show up. I wouldn't be surprised if he did do it as it is pro cycling and pro's love to cheat

2: Bouhanni is better and has won much more.
*Bouhanni is the better sprinter, not the better rider.
*Bouhanni is the faster sprinter, not the better rider
in terms of everything else Demare is a much better rider to have in your team, especially when it comes to being not the most hateable rider in the peloton...

Demare, Swift, Roelandts(?) was the strongest in the 295kms. What the hell is wrong with that?

I'm sure he will. Remember the Niki @ Paris Roubaix?

He should if he wasn't an integral part of a Skoda Superb Estate in this race. |

Jerks.
Next year, every WT team should send their worst possible squad to boycott |

Also with the weather being like it was with a healthy tailwind most of the way helped sprinters and the teams to hold it together, the times up the Cipressa and Poggio showed any attack wouldn't hold on anyway. I wonder if Gazzetta would of said the same had Viviani, Modolo or Bonifazio had won

Don't La Gazzetta and Sanremo go hand in hand? Could be mistaken, though |

Nah, you're right la Gazzetta created the Giro, MSR and Il Lombardia.
Also, isn't the best part of MSR is that you can have a surprising winner? Changing the route may mean you have bigger stars winning but it'd also make it more predictable IMO.

Wonder what La Gazetta would have said if a neo-pro had won the race in his first go

Bah La Gazetta
Bah L'Equipe
Bah Het Nieuwsblad
National sports papers are so rubbish.
Isn't there any magazine, newspaper or good site that's not biased about nationality?
Cyclingsnews sounds good, but they get things wrong too often to be trustworthy |
