I'd vote for Pay out as Usual. To me it's no different to one of the favorites, or a few of the favorites, crashing/abandoning from the race. It's a part of cycling just like any other and it's a risk you take when making a bet.

I don't mind really. My Pinot bet was most likely a loss anyway.
Just asking as I see official bookies have reduced the early GC bets after they were paid! Not sure if this is 100% legal but they seem to have some kind of option to react in such cases.
Going to wait until tomorrow anyway so might just do what has the most by then.
Edit: thanks alak. Exactly the tweet I meant but was to time consuming to link from the mobile.

Surely that can't be legal?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Bookies constantly change odds after the fact. Nothing new.
If you read through the terms and stipulations you agree to when you make an account you'll see that they protect themselves against exactly that.

Moving away from the real world betting, which this thread isn't about...
To back up my view of "Pay out as normal", 5 of the Top10 in GC were betting options. So whilst the cancellation had an impact it didn't completely re-shuffle the race from a GC riders race to a pure sprinters race or something like that. Imagine there was a mountain stage and the GC just looks like a mismanged breakaway stole the show.
In conclusion, suck it up and accept your betting risk

Really thinking about betting on either Sagan or an absolute outsider to win MSR. Is that too radical a bet??

Nah. Too easy. All of you would quickly have a 5/6-digit account. |

I'd better give Sagan no odds at all then.
The bookie way. |

We just passed the 100 bets for MSR. Might be one of the most ever!
Definitely a race with the potential to win big. And I see Lachi is about 1000$ down. |

I think it should be Eduard Prades and not Benjamin. Nevertheless you are doing a great job with all the bets. Keep it up! |

Ah true. Was only on my mobile this week. And obviously picked the wrong as double checking is harder on a small screen. |
