I don't remember who it was but recently someone said: they'd better move the entire calendar one month ahead. Actually not such a silly idea, I think
Even the Giro had plenty of snow in may in the last years, with this fcked up climate, you can't rely on good weather anymore.
True But it couldn't hurt either, I think.
Actually with the way the climate is shifting then doing that wouldn't be a bad idea at all

What can Van Avermaet do tomorrow? 10km is actually a distance he isn't half bad at... |

He was 10th in the same timetrial last year. Him and Sagan will need to get some seconds today if they want to stand a chance. Still Tejay's race to lose.

Assuming everything stays the same, I give him a good chance. If it were any longer, Van Garderen would be the better option, but he can handle this distance quite well.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Tejay's definitely the better time trialer. But 10 km is a special distance.
How great would it be if Van Avermaet would win Tirreno |

Sagan could do it, too. But he'll need boni seconds for sure. A bit too far behind. |

Bennati, Sagan, Gatto, Kwiatkowski, Van Avermaet, Gaviria, Stybar and Trentin have broken away after the intermediate sprint.
This could turn out to be fun!

How's Kwiat in the GC by the way? He could do a great 10km as well.

Nibali didn't have mountain stages so he needs to train elsewhere
