Hirscher won GS today and has now claimed the fifth Overall World Cup in a row. Pretty amazing late season of Hirscher with great scoring, even beating Pinaurault today fairly well.

Ole Einar Bjørndalen, what an athlete! 
Hes been my favourite since day one and its incredible that he can still keep such a world class level 11 years after I started following the sport. Never will witness any athlete like him, no matter the sport 
This also looks to be a potential record WC for Fourcade, lets see how long he can keep his streak going for!

Any predictions for the 15k and 20k competitions tomorow?
I don't think Fourcade will keep his winning streak going here and will not defend the title from last year either. I feel like Svendsen has something up his sleeve and he will show that tomorow. Ole has done what he came for and the other norwegians are hard to rely on in this event especially.

Just watching the womens race from Eurosport.It is not live though.ı missed it and now I am watching this.I don't know the result yet but as of 3 shootings all I can say
is that Frenchies are ridicolous.
What a terrible day for me in terms of sports
P-N Stage cancelled,Contador is not gaining time
And today Frenchies Bescond and Dorin Habert ski faster than everybody and still shoot 19/20.

I swear Dahlmaier has to have the motor in her ski and she regulary activates it during the last lap. 
Still not a medal for Czech Republic, but i am happy for Vitkova and her 4th place as i support her, unlike Soukalova, who is actually someone i dislike a lot and cant cheer for her.

May I ask why you dislike Soukalova? Is it because of her personality or have she said something outrageous in Czech TV or newspapers? I'm just curious as I don't actually know that much about her |

There are various reasons,but all are shallow.
(but that is how you can become fan or not a fan of someone,as you dont know them personally, so you are making a shallow picture).
First, she is acting and presenting herself (cant judge if she is really like it) like totally stupid blonde, just giggling on every question and smile is her only answer on everything.
Second, her boyfriend is a czech badminton player, who is well known for his long time doping, who later suffered from cancer and now is doing a mentor against cancer, of all people.
Third reason is that majority of all people in Czech Republic are like: You have to love her, she is so perfect. Czech TV commentators are literally masturbating on her during whole races, i cant even listen to this nationalistic bullshit it anymore.
So yeah, pretty shallow and hipster "reasons", but i cant force myself to be her fan, i just cant.

If we talk about hatred towards athletes - I have a general dislike for Laura Dahlmeier and Marie Dorin-Habert. The media and the French team want to shove Dorin down at least at my throat with the "female Fourcade" shtick. As for Dahlmeier - she is IMO too insolent. Remember when she moaned about how Pidhrushna (hope I've wrote it right) blocked her in the final meters of one of the relays and I think she wanted Ukraine do be disqualified. Much like how Eric Frenzel got Magnus Krog disqualified in Schonach nrodic combined competition
As for the men biathletes - I just can't stand M.Fourcade's gloading that he is the best biathlete of all time. No Matrin, you're not even close to be the best of all time - that title was, is and forever will be reserved for OLE EINAR BJØRNDALEN.

Dorothea Wierer is awesome indeed
I like Soukalova actually.
I almost can't stand Frenchies in biathlon.I already wasn't liking Fouracde and was neutral against other Frenchies,but this season,combined with 1-2 in yesterday's race was just too much for me. |
