It was 14km from the finish of stage 4 that finished in Belleville.
Betancur attacked on the climb. Matthews went with him
They were brought back and then Slagter, Thomas and others attacked

No way..he did see Matthews coming. He has been acting dirty many times before..
One of unlikeable rider at peloton.
Other side: You have to be dick to be great sprinter |

He was even complaining before the start of the race that he didn't like they included dirt roads in Paris-Nice, he said they had no place in road racing and that if he wanted to race on dirt he would race cyclocross. I think he is just getting grumpy in his old age

That's probably why Farrar never made top sprinter ranks |

Bouhanni is the biggest dickhead in professional cycling by mile, he has a history of dirty moves, complete idiot. At least the barriers have hidden fronts now, if not, Matthews would go acrobatic flying...

No Gilbert at todays start due to illness. Nothing serious but he is taking no risks ahead of Milan San Remo.
Could have been a stage for him today. So one "favourite" less. |

Quite a shame I can`t watch it live.... The profile I posted is from the official website so I think they will climb it like that.
Also in your photo it starts at 184m and finishes at 500m.In official website it starts from 247m and ends at 480m |

I think it`s the same streets to be honest. In previews by Inner Ring for example they also use the 2nd profile.
It might be 20m longer as they start the pic a tad earlier or finish it a bit later.
Also the 232m in your pic does not necessarily be the start. Could also be somewhere between the 0-1km mark.
I don`t know the climb myself except for TV coverage. But I guess sites like Inner Ring or others will have checked if the roads that are used, are the same.
I also know that your image is from the official site. But this does not necessarily make it a different one. It`s just a different look at it. For example in the first every kilometer is given an average slope (1 box each kilometer). In the later every kilometer is seperated into 4-6 different boxes/slopes, so is more accurate than taking the average.
I never wanted to say, your profile is wrong neither.
Just wanted to add another profile that shows smaller sections. |

Gilbert won't be starting stage 3 because of illness. Not a good preparation so far.

I dunno, if it's not too bad he can ride Nokere or something next week and he'll be ready for San Remo.
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

And now Bouhanni blames Matthews for hitting his arm and unbalancing him. He definitely needs a suspension, should have gotten one last year already if only there were images of him punching Theuns.

Yes. I love how Bouhanni only wants to prove it with one random screenshot.
I can also take one single screenshot of a GIF or video and make it show absolutely different things as the whole process.
Bouhanni really is a dick. First making such move and then trying to come around this way.
Definitely not making more friends this way in the peloton and not sure if I want to ride against 200 riders when all of them basically can`t stand you. Neither team mates, who must work for him and possibly not are his biggest fans. |

Maybe Gilbert should start skipping MSR from here on out. Sure he always likes to talk about winning MSR, he rarely does anything noteworthy at the Poggio though.

Yeah, he could then concentrate a bit more on the Ardennes. He wants to win 5 different monuments and last time I heard an interview, he was just like: Roubaix will be hard.
He was sort of assuming he could return to the Ronde any day and win it. Same for San Remo.
He'd be better of concentrating on the Ardennes and doing some more specific work to try and win Liège another time.
That's just my opinion. But I agree with you, I don't see him winning Sanremo ever. He will never drop Matthews, Sagan... and they're all faster than him. |

What, he wants to win all 5 monuments. Ha. Ha. I thought that idea is long gone by now, a bit late to catch up on three more.
(If there's one rider currently who could end up possibly with the 5 it's Benoot imo..)

Nah, Benoot can never win MSR, only if the route should change massively into favour of puncheurs.

Tchmil, Cancellara, Gerrans all won on the same route without a sprint. So I wouldn't call it impossible, but he still won't get too many chances.
