Yes, Nibali failed, Landa wins king stage and super domestique and Aru wins the race Wink

If you agree, why the same mountain as Contador and close to the same as Froome and Quintana? It with Aru with a poor reasons, Nibali better in hills, time trial, cobbled, descent, stamina and REC.

But you´re forgetting that Nibali is also a multiple GT winner and will probably win another couple of GT´s as well if he remains at this level. He´s a rider that is still very much at his peak.

So because Nibali got pulled by a car, Aru is a better climber?
Changed my sig, this was getting absurd.

Because he's actually stronger than him in all those skills. Again if you don't like that 82 mo for Nibali just downgrade him to 81. He will be lowered to 73 acc though, so this discussion wasn't even that useless Shock

Plus are you forgetting the reason why Nibali was DSQ'd from the Vuelta?

Yes and is and long from Froome, Quintana and Contador in mountains.

I disagree that he´s a long way from those riders, a point at most.

2012: Froome and Wiggins much better.
2013: Froome and Quintana much better.
2014: Froome and Contador much better.

I think you´re confusing much better with a bit better.

Mate in 2014, even though Froome, Quintana and Contador were not in the TdF, Nibali won it. Do you realize how huge is that?
Costa ~ Machado ~ Quintana ~ Gallopin

Yes because they were not with and a mediocre rider Péraud was #2 in weakest TDF in many many years.

2014 not a chance against Froome and Contador:

Are you seriously taking Dauphiné into account, a race which he only attended to prepare himself for the 2014 Tour? In 2014 he really didn't give many fecks about anything bar GTs.

You really need to stop presenting your personal opinion as a fact, especialy if no one agrees with you.

For example, what are you basing your 2013 claims on? They had totaly different schedules. The only major race they had together was the Tirreno, where Nibali won.

Froome and Contador had also just prepare Dauphiné. Only there Nibali drove them both. Contador and Froome were way above all in 2014 and we had a wild duel if they do not crash. You can just see stage 8 of TDF where Contador easily drove from Nibali on a small rise, without attacking. https://youtu.be/...A?t=32m12s

Let's just cut off this useless discussion. As said, it's a matter of personal preference, especially with these top stats. (And yes this has been said before)

So now to be constructive, I found some things that could be changed:

-Alessio Taliani (Androni) seems a bit overrated in HI to me, I don't get why it's higher than his MO. 68/69 seems more suitable to me
-Simone Sterbini (Bardiani) could use a MO boost, 65-67 seems appropriate
-Mirco Maestri (Bardiani) could use a general boost, but especially in the HI/MO. Results in races like Medio Brenta and Friuli show this. I suggest 62/63 MO, 66/67 HI
-Simone Velasco (Bardiani) could use a small MO boost in my opinion, to 61/62
-Alan Banaszek (CCC) could use a lower COB stat (unless I missed a result of that there). He seems more like a sprinter, I think he could do with 65-67 there
-Hugo Hofstetter (Cofidis) could use a big boost in sprints, given his good sprint results in Provence and Felanitx. 67 or so seems appropriate, plus maybe a FL boost to something like that too
-Loic Chetout (Cofidis) could use a FTR boost
-Mikel Aristi (Delko) could use a sprint boost to around 64/65 I guess
-Antwan Tolhoek (Roompot) could use a general boost, though especially his FTR stands out as being too low
-André Looij (Roompot) could also use a sprint boost, to 73 I think.
-Pieter Weening (Roompot) could use a PRL downgrade

There's a chance I forgot more (a very high chance even I think), but I hope this will be of any use.

I asked about 2013, so don't use 2014 video's for an argument.

Are you stupid? You can well see that I answer matt17br.
Froome was far above all others in 2013. Nibali worse than an old man like Horner

Thanks for the post and about 50% of those have already been changed, the rest will be looked at for the next update.

Yup, silly me, I should've known you were going to edit your post after I posted.

Anyway, apologies to all, I let Arberg get way too much attention, will be quiet now (although I still recommend to the admins to block him from posting on this part of the forum, either trolling or a complete idiot - still not sure which).

Important Notice

Just letting everybody know that the stat team has been increased and Croatia will be working on stats as well. His knowledge at CT level is fantastic, something that the forum has really lacked to do the stats as well as WT and PT level. Croatia will be working solely on CT stats which is the biggest division with the largest pool of riders and is the hardest to research as well, so he has a lot of work to do. He will be aided by Kodman an associate member who is equally knowledgeable at CT level who can give him a second opinion when needed.

To get the best stats, whenever the stats are done another stat team member will give a second opinion, so we get the best balance possible.

So the hierarchy of the stats team will look like this.

CT Level will be done by Croatia (Kodman)
PT Level will be done by Tafiolmo (Croatia)
WT Level will be done by Tafiolmo (Croatia)

Myself and Croatia will have the final say on the stats, but Team Leader Matt who does a million things anyway, will have the final say when there is a doubt or dispute over rider stats, as well as giving other suggestions when needed.

On top of this the team also has an internal stat chat with the other PCM Team Members as well and of course You Guys also give great stat suggestions which are always taken into consideration as well.

So as you see the stats work like the USA is supposed to be working and has a checks and balances system to make it as democratic as possible, so nobody in the team can give purely subjective stats.

Now the best bit......

With the stat team expansion, we plan to release stat updates every single month so the game will have the most realistic stats posible, as rider stats can change daily. At the moment a number of CT and some PT level stats are still being improved (so thanks for your patience) and by the next update the db should be 100% at its bottom end with its CT stats.

Thanks for reading.
