As you can see on the front page and post #2 here, we experience some problems with the installer.
The RSM DB is made by the RSM community and is not related to our 2016 DB.

I think you downloaded the wrong database. As you could have read in the second post of this thread, our download is temporarily down, because of major issues with the installer.
You might have downloaded the RSM database instead.

As far as I know this is hard-coded in the game, and thus can't be fixed by us. What we did do is add road races after the date this randomization takes place, so that there will be a raced national champion for the rest of the season.

We already explained that it's something hardcoded so nothing we can fix, however we said that we had made sure the actual National Championships of those nations (Austria, GBR, Ireland etc.) were placed after the simulated ones, so that the winners in game would be the ones picked by the races in the db, and not by the ones simulated by default.

Which is exactly what we did...

I told you because its not good that you win the race with a rider to show his national shirt champion and later... its a random rider
EDIT: Ahhmm sorry, I didn't read. Thanks Matt! |

Hi !
While we wait for the new installer for the db, could you please let the link to the Variant DLC in the download section ?
I think the variant DLC doesn't have problem so I would like to download it while we wait, as they are very big downloads and I have a poor internet connection.
Thanks ! |

For some inexplicable reason we're struggling a lot creating the installers. The release might be delayed until after this weekend.

If it causes too much problems can't you just upload it without installer?
Anyway it's worth the wait!

Is it possible to do that?
I'm so bummed out by the delay. |

Well yes, but you would have too place all the files manually into the correct directory, which for some people is not the easiest thing too do apparently.
Since it seems like they struggle so much with the installer i would think putting all the files into a .rar format and write down an installation guide would be the best option.

I certainly don't know what percentage of users know where the files go, but I'll bet it's very high. Perhaps detailed instructions on how to install the files would cause fewer support issues than the installer causes. I would actually prefer to place the files myself. <control freak>
