Going back in time is tricky and irksome and that implies editing a whole lot of tables. I won't even mention how much stuff you have to edit besides those 3 tables. Just think about cyclist fitness, sponsor happiness, team lineups etc..

Well, going back & forward in your savegame over large periods of time might not be that realistic and it comes with the risks that you mentioned. (I've used it to test some things on october 25 dayturn for example, but then I don't care about fitness etc  )
I think the most added value for this feature is that when your game always crashes the same date and you cannot get past it, that you can skip 1 day with this.
However, if something can be made better, it's always good to think about |

The issue is probably with the extraction of the cdb to xml.
could you verify the following:
- that you have extracted the zip file of the download, so you are not running the exe from within a zip file
- in the folder of the PCM Career explorer you have a file called Exporter.exe
- If you choose to "open a savegame" and a security warning pops up to execute an external process, that you choose to allow it and click "run" (see screenshot)

can you try this,
1) get the latest version 10.0.0.2 from
https://davydepuyd.../PCMCE.zip
2) Extract the zip file somewhere on your C drive (or c:\program files or d:\ drive if you like)
3) Open your savegame via File -> Open Savegame

Maybe a nice option for a future version is the possibility to edit the national champions?
Because i hate winning the swedish nc with Ludvigsson only to lose it the next day to a amateur swedish rider with no team, because pcm played its own nc.
Same goes for Ireland, GB etc.

I'm working on a "fix national champions" because I do it every year manually in my savegames as well. I'll keep you posted |

You can also change the NC RR to the day after the 'automatic NC'. That way you only have to do this once  |

Version 10.1
Team Overview
A list of all teams in game with their division, and also a speciality-score for Stage races, sprints, Hilly Classics, Flanders Classics, TimeTrial and an average of cyclist averages
You can right click any team to go to the Teams Roster
Team Roster Page
A page where you can see the entire roster for each team with their speciality-scores, average, contract end, salary and potential color code (U23 cyclists)
​View Retired cyclists & removed the from "no contract next year"
The cyclist --> transfer view window is updated. the cyclists that retire are now filtered out on the "no contract next year" page and there is an extra page where you can see which riders will retire
Bugfixes
Updated code so it reads the database in UTF8 format, to prevent crashes when using exotic characters
Trusted version of Exporter cdb to xml
A new version of the exporter that should supress some security warnings some users had |

Hmmm, when I load the savegame all is fine. Have you tried putting the folder of the PCM explorer on your desktop/a personal folder? (or on your c: drive if it's already somewhere on a personal folder)
Can you check if there is a FullDatabase.xml in the folder of the tool? and if so, can you tell me how large the file is? |
