Impressive sprint by Kristoff today. To edge out Cavendish, despite Dimension Data delivering the missile in a great position, indicates that Kristoff will be dangerous this season too.

Cav's excuse for not winning is fantastic though... blamed it on the slight baggyness of the leader's jersey vs the aero shape of a skinsuit

Life after Sky's marginal gains can be tough for anyone, I guess.

Lol Cav
Kristoff is easily the most exciting sprinter currently, just the way he approaches a sprint from far out is brilliant. I look forward to see him progress and develop even more this year, hopefully Tour form will be right this time. Maybe a few less CT wins/races may help to be in good form later at Tour and Dubai.

He may be making excuses to some extent but to be fair he may also have a point. A slightly baggy jersey will have a detrimental effect over +100k and even an extra few watts of power being needed may effect the sprint if it comes down to small margins.
It's obviously a valid point otherwise teams and companies wouldn't be spending millions of pounds developing aero dynamic kit in the first place.
I remember when I used to race, being pissed off that I'd spent thousands of pounds on my TT Bike and Aero Dynamic kit and then had to pin a massive number to my back with bloody safety pins |

Absolutely insane TT from EBH in Qatar. Putting 25 secs into 2nd van Emden over 11km. |

Yeah, he took that very convincingly. He should win the GC as well now, right?

Yeah 29 secs over Quinziato and 32 secs over GVA. Cav probably 4th right now.
Edit: Cav is 2nd. Dimension Data 1-2 |

EBH promises the same thing every year but always fizzles out, he at least though can win the mighty Tour of Britain.
Kristoff though is the real deal.

I feel sorry for Edvald. He did some good work for Cav the first couple of days, destroyed everyone yesterday and today a puncture stops him from winning the GC.
